1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your BDF Tab P60 tablet. Please read this manual thoroughly before using your device to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

2. Initial Setup

2.1 Package Contents

Ensure all items are present in your package:

  • BDF Tab P60 Tablet
  • Charging Cable (Type-C)
  • User Manual (this document)

2.2 Device Layout and Ports

Familiarize yourself with the tablet's physical features:

  • Volume Buttons: Adjust audio levels.
  • Switch On/Off Button: Power the device on/off or put it to sleep.
  • Type-C Port: For charging and data transfer.
  • Speaker: Audio output.
  • Headphone Hole (3.5mm Audio Out Port): Connect wired headphones.
  • SIM Card Port (x2): Insert 4G LTE SIM cards.
  • Micro TF Card Port: Insert a Micro SD card for expandable storage.

2.3 Inserting SIM and Memory Cards

Locate the SIM/Micro TF card tray on the side of the tablet. Use the provided tool (if any) to eject the tray. Carefully place your 4G LTE SIM cards and Micro TF card into their respective slots on the tray, ensuring correct orientation. Reinsert the tray firmly into the tablet.

2.4 Charging the Tablet

Before first use, fully charge your tablet. Connect the Type-C charging cable to the tablet's Type-C port and the other end to a compatible power adapter. The charging time is approximately 8 hours for a full charge.

3. Operating Your Tablet

3.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the 'Switch On/Off' button until the BDF logo appears to power on. To power off, press and hold the same button, then select 'Power off' from the options. A short press will put the tablet to sleep or wake it up.

3.3 Network Connectivity

The BDF Tab P60 supports both Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) and Dual 4G LTE/3G/2G network communication. To connect to Wi-Fi, go to Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi. To use mobile data, ensure your SIM card is properly inserted and mobile data is enabled in Settings.

3.4 Camera Usage

The tablet features a 13.0 Megapixel Rear Camera and a 5.0 Megapixel Front-Facing Camera. Open the Camera app to take photos or record videos. The AI photography feature supports both front and rear full scene capture.

4. Maintenance and Care

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the screen and body of the tablet. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Battery Care: The tablet has an 8000mAh battery. To prolong battery life, avoid extreme temperatures and do not let the battery drain completely regularly.
  • Software Updates: Keep your Android 12 operating system updated to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Storage Management: Regularly clear unnecessary files and apps to maintain sufficient storage space. The tablet has 512GB ROM and supports up to 64GB TF card for external memory.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Common Issues and Solutions

  • Tablet not turning on: Ensure the tablet is charged. Connect it to a charger for at least 30 minutes, then try powering it on again.
  • Slow performance: Close unused applications, clear cache, or restart the tablet. Check for available software updates.
  • Wi-Fi/4G connectivity issues: Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled and you are within range of a known network. For 4G, check SIM card insertion and mobile data settings. Restarting the tablet or router can often resolve temporary network issues.
