  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
  • Water Exposure: While the device is IPX6 waterproof, avoid submerging it in water or exposing it to high-pressure water jets. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed when not charging.

Troubleshooting

Device will not power on:
Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the device to a power source using the USB charging cable and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on again.
Cannot pair with phone via Bluetooth:
  • Make sure the headset is in Bluetooth pairing mode (blue LED flashing).
  • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and it is discoverable.
  • Try restarting both the headset and your phone.
  • If previously paired, try deleting the "E1" entry from your phone's Bluetooth list and re-pairing.
Intercom not connecting between two devices:
  • Ensure both devices are powered on and in intercom mode ("intercom mode" audio tip).
  • Try long pressing the 'M' key on one of the devices to initiate pairing.
  • If they were previously paired, try deleting old paired records by long pressing the 'M' key in intercom mode until you hear "waiting for pairing", then re-initiate pairing.
  • Ensure devices are within the 1000m communication range and there are no significant obstacles.
No sound or poor sound quality:
  • Check the volume levels on both the headset and your connected device.
  • Ensure the speaker and microphone cables are securely connected to the headset.
  • Verify that the speakers are correctly positioned over your ears and the microphone is 1-2 cm from your mouth.
  • For intercom, ensure both units are properly paired and within range.
"Low battery" audio tip:
The battery level is below 20%. Connect the headset to a power source immediately to charge it.

User Tips

  • Helmet Compatibility: The soft microphone is generally better for full-face and rally helmets, while the hard microphone is suited for half-face, open-face, and retro helmets. Choose the correct type for optimal performance.
  • Intercom Usage: The X1 Plus is designed for two-person intercom. Each unit functions as an independent intercom, allowing two riders to communicate directly.
  • Installation Adhesion: For best results, allow the 3M adhesive on the mount to cure for 24 hours before attaching the intercom unit. This ensures maximum viscosity and a secure fit.
  • Button Feel: The physical pressure buttons are designed to be easily operated even with gloves on, reducing accidental presses and improving usability while riding.
