Installation Guide
The X1 Plus headset is designed for easy installation on various helmet types. Choose the appropriate microphone type (soft or hard) based on your helmet.


- Install Headphone Mount:
- Tear off the 3M adhesive paper from the headphone mount.
- Stick the mount firmly on the left side of your helmet. Do NOT remove it arbitrarily after pasting. Maximum viscosity is achieved after 24 hours.
- Clip the intercom unit onto the fixed mount. A "click" sound indicates it is fixed in position.
- Install Speakers:
- Peel off the speaker stickers and attach them inside the helmet's ear bags.
- Place the speakers onto these stickers, ensuring they are centered over your ears for optimal sound.
- Install Microphone:
- Peel off the microphone sticker and attach it to the left side of the inward helmet.
- Secure the microphone, ensuring it is positioned 1-2 cm away from your mouth for the best audio quality.
- Connect Cables:
- Connect the speaker and microphone cable plug into the corresponding jack on the intercom unit.
Note: The package contains either an outer (hard) microphone or a hidden (soft) microphone, not both. Choose the one suitable for your helmet type.

Operation Guide
Power On/Off and Charging
- Power On: Long press the Power button for 2 seconds.
- Power Off: Long press the Power button for 2 seconds.
- Charging: Connect the micro USB cable to the charging hole. A red light indicates charging; the light turns off when fully charged (charging time is typically less than 2 hours).
Bluetooth Connection (Pairing with Phone)
- From Device Off: Power on the device. The LED indicator will flash, and the device will enter Bluetooth mode, waiting for pairing.
- From Intercom Mode: Short press the 'M' key. You will hear "Bluetooth mode". The device will then be ready for pairing.
- On your phone, search for Bluetooth devices and select "E1".
- Once successfully connected, the blue LED light will remain solid.
- To connect to another device, power off the first device (you will hear "disconnected"), then power on the new device and repeat the pairing process.
Music Playback
After successfully connecting to your phone via Bluetooth, the headset functions as a Bluetooth headphone.
- Volume Up: Short press the Volume+ button.
- Next Song: Long press the Volume+ button.
- Volume Down: Short press the Volume- button.
- Previous Song: Long press the Volume- button.
- Play/Pause: Short press the Power button.
Hands-Free Calling
When connected to your phone, you can manage calls directly from the headset.
- Answer/Hang Up: Short press the Power button.
- Reject Call: Long press the Power button.
- Redial Last Number: Double press the Power button.
Intercom Mode (Rider-to-Rider Communication)

- Initiate Intercom Pairing:
- Power on both X1 Plus devices.
- Short press the 'M' key on both devices to switch to intercom mode. You will hear "intercom mode".
- Long press the 'M' key on either device. You will hear "paired", indicating the two devices are connected and ready for communication.
- If the devices were previously paired, they will automatically connect without needing to long press the 'M' key.
- Delete Paired Records:
- In intercom mode, long press the 'M' key. You will hear "waiting for pairing", indicating old pairing records have been deleted.
Activate Smart Voice System (Siri, Google Assistant, etc.)
The headset supports activation of your phone's smart voice assistant. Specific activation method (e.g., double-tap power button, specific button press) is usually detailed in the full user manual or by your phone's settings. Ensure your headset is powered on and connected to your phone.
Audio Tips
- "Power off": Device is powering off.
- "Bluetooth Mode": Device has entered Bluetooth mode and is waiting for pairing.
- "Intercom Mode": Device has entered intercom mode and is waiting for pairing.
- "Paired": Device has successfully paired in either Bluetooth or intercom mode.
- "Disconnected": Device has disconnected and is re-entering pairing mode.
- "Low battery": Device has less than 20% power. This alert repeats every 3 minutes if not charged. Approximately 1 hour of working time remains after this alert.

Troubleshooting
- Device will not power on:
- Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the device to a power source using the USB charging cable and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on again.
- Cannot pair with phone via Bluetooth:
- Make sure the headset is in Bluetooth pairing mode (blue LED flashing).
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and it is discoverable.
- Try restarting both the headset and your phone.
- If previously paired, try deleting the "E1" entry from your phone's Bluetooth list and re-pairing.
- Intercom not connecting between two devices:
- Ensure both devices are powered on and in intercom mode ("intercom mode" audio tip).
- Try long pressing the 'M' key on one of the devices to initiate pairing.
- If they were previously paired, try deleting old paired records by long pressing the 'M' key in intercom mode until you hear "waiting for pairing", then re-initiate pairing.
- Ensure devices are within the 1000m communication range and there are no significant obstacles.
- No sound or poor sound quality:
- Check the volume levels on both the headset and your connected device.
- Ensure the speaker and microphone cables are securely connected to the headset.
- Verify that the speakers are correctly positioned over your ears and the microphone is 1-2 cm from your mouth.
- For intercom, ensure both units are properly paired and within range.
- "Low battery" audio tip:
- The battery level is below 20%. Connect the headset to a power source immediately to charge it.
User Tips
- Helmet Compatibility: The soft microphone is generally better for full-face and rally helmets, while the hard microphone is suited for half-face, open-face, and retro helmets. Choose the correct type for optimal performance.
