5. Setup

5.1. Installation

The D3410 is a standard 1-DIN car stereo designed for in-dash installation. Ensure your vehicle's dashboard opening is compatible with the 1-DIN size (approximately 18.8cm x 5.8cm). Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper fit and wiring.

5.2. Wiring Diagram

Correct wiring is crucial for the safe and proper operation of your car stereo. The D3410 features automatic power-off protection to prevent damage from incorrect wiring, but always double-check connections before powering on.

Important Wiring Notes:

• Power Cable: Connect ACC (red), GND (black), ANT (blue), and B+ (yellow) wires as per your vehicle's wiring harness.
• Horn Cable: Connect the horn cable to your vehicle's speaker system.
• RCA Cable: Use the RCA output ports for connecting to external amplifiers or subwoofers.
• Car Antenna Cable: Connect your car's FM antenna to the designated port.
• The unit has Reverse Connection Protection. If the power cord is reversed, it will automatically power off to prevent burning the machine. After correcting the wiring, the unit should boot normally without damage.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. General Controls

Refer to Figure 2.3 for the layout of the front panel controls. Most functions are accessible via the buttons on the front panel or the included steering wheel control remote.

6.2. FM Radio

To listen to FM radio:

1. Press the MODE button to select FM radio mode.
2. Use the BAND/AMS button to switch between FM bands (FM1, FM2, FM3).
3. Press the Previous Track (<<) or Next Track (>>) buttons to manually tune frequencies.
4. Press and hold BAND/AMS to automatically scan and store up to 30 preset stations.

6.3. Bluetooth Functionality

The D3410 features built-in Bluetooth 5.0 for hands-free calling and music playback.

1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile phone.
2. Select Bluetooth mode on the car stereo (usually by pressing MODE).
3. Search for available devices on your phone and select "CAR BT" to pair.
4. Once paired, you can make/receive hands-free calls and stream music from your phone.

6.4. Media Playback (USB/SD/AUX)

The stereo supports various playback methods:

• USB Play: Insert a USB disk into one of the front USB ports. The unit will automatically switch to USB mode and begin playing supported audio files (MP3/WMA/WAV/FLAC/CDDA/HDCD/ACC).
• SD Card Play: Insert an SD card into the TF Card Slot. The unit will switch to SD mode and play supported audio files.
• AUX Input: Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, mobile phone) to the front AUX-IN port using a 3.5mm audio cable. Select AUX mode via the MODE button.

6.5. Audio Recording

The D3410 allows you to record audio:

1. Ensure a TF card or U disk is inserted.
2. You can record Bluetooth music, AUX music, or FM radio broadcasts.
3. Refer to the user manual for specific button presses to initiate and stop recording. The screen will display "end recording" when finished.

6.6. USB Charging

The front panel is equipped with a dedicated Type-C charging interface and dual USB interfaces, allowing you to charge your mobile phone while reading data from a U disk. It supports 5V/2A current.

6.7. Power Off Memory Function

The player automatically remembers the playing state (music or radio) when powered off and resumes from that state when restarted.

7. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the unit. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Temperature: Avoid exposing the unit to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods. The operating temperature range is -10℃ to 60℃.
• Moisture: Keep the unit dry. Moisture can damage internal components.

8. Troubleshooting

• Unit does not power on: Check all power connections (ACC, GND, B+). The unit has reverse connection protection, so if wiring was incorrect, it might have automatically shut off. Correct the wiring and try again.
• No sound: Check speaker connections (Horn Cable) and ensure volume is not muted or set too low. Verify RCA outputs if external amplifiers are used.
• Poor FM radio reception: Ensure the car antenna is properly connected. Radio performance can vary based on location and antenna quality. The radio response bandwidth is 87.5-108 MHz.
• Bluetooth not connecting: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and the stereo is in Bluetooth mode. Try unpairing and re-pairing the device.
• USB/SD card not playing: Ensure the media is inserted correctly and contains supported audio formats (MP3/WMA/WAV/FLAC/CDDA/HDCD/ACC). Check if the card/drive is formatted correctly.
