5. Setup and Installation

The BTA001 is designed for simple plug-and-play operation.

1. Charge the Device: Before first use, fully charge the BTA001 using the provided USB charging cable. Connect the Micro USB end to the device and the standard USB end to a power source (e.g., USB wall adapter, computer USB port). The LED indicator will show charging status.
2. Connect to Audio Device:

6. Operating Instructions

Power On/Off:

• Power On: Press and hold the Multifunction Button (1) for approximately 3 seconds until the LED indicator flashes.
• Power Off: Press and hold the Multifunction Button (1) for approximately 3 seconds until the LED indicator turns off.

Bluetooth Pairing:

1. Ensure the BTA001 is powered off.
2. Press and hold the Multifunction Button (1) for about 5-7 seconds until the LED indicator flashes red and blue alternately. This indicates pairing mode.
3. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone or other device and search for available devices.
4. Select "BTA001" from the list of found devices.
5. Once paired, the LED indicator will flash blue slowly.

Music Playback:

• Play/Pause: Short press the Multifunction Button (1).
• Next Track: Long press the Volume+ Button (2).
• Previous Track: Long press the Volume- Button (3).
• Volume Up: Short press the Volume+ Button (2).
• Volume Down: Short press the Volume- Button (3).

Hands-Free Calling:

• Answer Call: Short press the Multifunction Button (1) when a call comes in.
• End Call: Short press the Multifunction Button (1) during a call.
• Reject Call: Long press the Multifunction Button (1) when a call comes in.
• Redial Last Number: Double-press the Multifunction Button (1).

Dual Connection:

The BTA001 can connect to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously. After successfully pairing with the first device, put the BTA001 back into pairing mode and connect to the second device. The device will automatically switch between music playback and hands-free calling from either connected phone.
