5. Setup

1. **Initial Charge:** Before first use, fully charge the Warsun Y40 using the provided Type-C cable. Connect the cable to the Type-C port on the lamp and a suitable USB power adapter (not included). The battery level indicator lights will show charging progress.

6. Operating Instructions

The Warsun Y40 features a single power button to control all light modes.

1. **Power On/Cycle Modes:** Press the power button once to turn on the lamp. Subsequent short presses will cycle through the 6 available light modes. These typically include:
   • High COB Brightness (1000Lm)
   • Low COB Brightness
   • P8 Spotlight (500Lm, long-range)
   • Red Light (Steady)
   • Red Light (Flashing Warning)

2. **Red Light Mode Activation:** To directly enter the red light mode, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds. This is useful for warning signals or specific tasks like beekeeping or mosquito repellent.
3. **Power Off:** Continue cycling through modes until the light turns off, or press and hold the power button for 2 seconds from any white light mode to turn it off.
4. **Power Bank Function:** To use the lamp as a mobile power bank, connect your device to the Type-C port using a compatible cable. The lamp will provide a smart fast charge output.

7. Charging

The Warsun Y40 offers two convenient charging methods:

1. **Type-C Fast Charging:** Connect the lamp to a power source using a Type-C cable. The intelligent fast charging technology ensures efficient power delivery. The battery level indicator lights on the back panel will flash during charging and remain fully lit when charging is complete. A full charge takes approximately 5 hours.
2. **Solar Charging:** The back of the lamp features a solar panel. Place the lamp in direct sunlight for passive charging. This method is ideal for maintaining battery levels during outdoor activities or as an emergency charging option.

8. Maintenance

• **Cleaning:** Wipe the lamp with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
