5. Setup

5.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain the packaging for future transport or storage.

5.2 Powering On and Charging

The DVP-560 features a built-in 2600mAh rechargeable battery. Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the device.

  • Connect the provided USB Type-C charging cable to the DC IN 5V port on the rear of the player.
  • Connect the other end of the cable to a DC5V/2A power adapter (not included).
  • The LED display will indicate charging status. A full charge typically takes about 3 hours.
  • Once fully charged, the player offers approximately 8-10 hours of battery life, depending on usage.
  • To power on/off, short press the power button on the front panel or the remote control.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 CD Playback

  • Gently lift the transparent CD dust cover.
  • Place a CD (CD-DA or MP3 CD-R/RW) onto the spindle, ensuring it is seated correctly.
  • Close the CD dust cover.
  • Press the 'M' (Mode) button until 'CD' mode is selected.
  • Press the Play/Pause button to start playback.
  • Use the Previous/Next track buttons to navigate, and long press them to adjust volume.

6.2 Bluetooth Mode

The DVP-560 supports Bluetooth 5.0 with two-way functionality, allowing it to act as a Bluetooth speaker or transmit audio to other Bluetooth devices.

6.2.1 Connecting as a Bluetooth Speaker (Receiving Audio)

  • Press the 'M' (Mode) button until 'BT' (Bluetooth) mode is selected. The device will enter pairing mode.
  • On your mobile phone or other Bluetooth device, search for 'Thinkya DVP-560' in the Bluetooth settings.
  • Select the device to pair. Once connected, you can play audio from your phone through the CD player's speakers.

6.2.2 Transmitting Audio to Bluetooth Headphones/Speakers

  • Ensure your Bluetooth headphones or speaker are in pairing mode.
  • Press the 'M' (Mode) button on the DVP-560 until 'BT' mode is selected.
  • The DVP-560 will automatically search for nearby Bluetooth receiving devices.
  • Once connected, audio from the CD player (or other selected input) will be transmitted to your Bluetooth headphones/speaker.

6.3 USB Playback

  • Insert a USB flash drive (up to 32GB) into the USB Input Interface on the rear panel.
  • Press the 'M' (Mode) button until 'USB' mode is selected.
  • The player will automatically detect and play supported audio files (MP3/WMA/WAV/AAC).
  • Use the Previous/Next track buttons to navigate.

6.4 AUX Input

  • Connect an external audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the AUX Input Interface using a 3.5mm audio cable.
  • Press the 'M' (Mode) button until 'AUX' mode is selected.
  • Play audio from your external device. The DVP-560 will output the sound through its speakers.

6.5 Optical Output

  • Connect an optical cable from the SPDIF (Optical Output) port on the DVP-560 to an external audio receiver or sound system.
  • This provides high-fidelity, lossless pure sound quality to your connected audio equipment.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the player. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
  • Dust Cover: Always keep the transparent CD dust cover closed when not inserting or removing a CD to protect the laser lens from dust and moisture.

  • No Power: Ensure the device is charged or connected to a power source. Check the power adapter and cable.
