7. Troubleshooting
- No Signal Displayed:
- Check all video and audio cable connections between the source device and the UR230A.
- Ensure the source device is powered on and playing content.
- Use the 'Signal source Switching' button to ensure the correct input (CVBS or S-Video) is selected.
- Device Not Powering On:
- Verify the USB Power Adapter is correctly connected to the device and a working power outlet.
- Ensure the power adapter provides 5V 1A.
- Recording Issues (e.g., no recording, file corruption):
- Check if the USB flash drive or TF card is properly inserted.
- Ensure the storage device has sufficient free space.
- Verify the storage device is formatted to FAT32, exFAT, or NTFS.
- The maximum file size is 4GB (FAT32) or 16GB (NTFS/exFAT). If recording exceeds this, it will automatically split into multiple files.
- Video Files are 720p or 1080p?
- The device records at 1080p/576p/480p. For NTSC input (480i60), it records 480P30 or 1920x1080P30. For PAL input (576i50), it records 576P25 or 1920x1080P25.
- The HDMI OUT will output 1920x1080P60 for NTSC and 1920x1080P50 for PAL.
- NTSC or PAL System: The UR230A supports both NTSC and PAL systems.
8. User Tips
- For optimal recording quality, ensure your source device is providing a clean signal.
- Regularly check the available storage space on your USB drive or TF card to avoid interruptions during recording.
- When connecting to a computer, ensure your operating system (Win10/Mac OS/Linux) is compatible and any necessary drivers are installed for UVC/UAC functionality.
- The USB power supply is wide-voltage (100-240V), making it suitable for various regions. Select the appropriate plug type (US, EU, UK) when purchasing.
9. Maintenance
- Keep the device clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures (operating temperature: 0-55°C, storage temperature: -20-80°C).
- Avoid dropping or subjecting the device to strong impacts.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the device during operation.
