1. Introduction

2. Safety Instructions

General Power Tool Safety Warnings:

• Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, dust mask, and hearing protection.
• Keep your work area clean and well-lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
• Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
• Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control.

• Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. The correct power tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.

4. Parts Identification

5. Setup

5.1 Attaching the Dust Bag

1. Align the dust bag's connector with the sander's dust port.
2. Push firmly until it clicks into place.
3. To remove, pull the dust bag firmly away from the port.

5.2 Attaching Sandpaper

1. Ensure the sander is turned off and the battery is removed.
2. Align the holes on the sandpaper with the holes on the Velcro pad.
3. Press the sandpaper firmly onto the Velcro pad to secure it.
4. To remove, simply peel the sandpaper off the Velcro pad.

5.3 Inserting and Removing the Battery

1. To insert: Align the battery with the battery slot on the sander and slide it in until it locks securely.
2. To remove: Press the battery release button (usually red) and slide the battery out.

5.4 Charging the Battery

1. Connect the charger to a power outlet.
2. Insert the battery into the charger.
3. The LED indicator on the battery will show charging status (e.g., blinking for charging, solid for fully charged).
4. Once fully charged, disconnect the battery from the charger.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On/Off

1. Ensure the battery is securely inserted.
2. Press the power button on the control panel to turn the sander ON.
3. Press the power button again to turn the sander OFF.

6.2 Adjusting Speed

The sander features 3 adjustable speeds (low, medium, high) for different applications.

1. With the sander ON, use the speed adjustment buttons on the control panel to cycle through the 3 gears.
2. Select the appropriate speed for your material and desired finish.

6.3 Sanding Techniques

• Always hold the sander firmly with both hands.
• Apply light, even pressure. Let the tool do the work.
• Move the sander in overlapping circular or elliptical patterns for best results.
• Avoid tilting the sander, as this can create uneven surfaces or gouges.
• For optimal dust collection, ensure the dust bag is properly attached and emptied regularly.

7. Maintenance

7.1 General Cleaning

• Before cleaning, always remove the battery from the sander.
• Wipe down the exterior of the sander with a clean, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Ensure all vents are clear of dust and debris to prevent overheating.

7.2 Dust Bag Maintenance

• Empty the dust bag frequently, especially when working with fine dust.
• To empty, detach the dust bag and shake out the contents.
• Periodically clean the dust bag to maintain optimal dust collection efficiency.

7.3 Sandpaper Replacement

• Replace sandpaper when it becomes worn or clogged to maintain effective sanding and prevent damage to the workpiece.
• Follow the instructions in Section 5.2 for attaching new sandpaper.
