8. Troubleshooting

Q: The light won't turn off after charging.
A: This could indicate a software glitch or a stuck button. Try fully discharging the battery and then recharging it. If the issue persists, contact customer support for assistance.
Q: Can I use the light while it's charging?
A: Yes, the light is designed to operate while being charged, for example, when connected to a power bank during a ride.
Q: The light is not as bright as expected or has a short runtime.
A: Ensure the battery is fully charged. Check if you are using the correct light mode (higher brightness modes consume more power). Over time, battery capacity can degrade; ensure proper charging habits as described in the Maintenance section.

9. User Tips

  • Maximize Visibility: Utilize the High beam mode for maximum visibility on dark roads, and switch to Medium or Low in well-lit areas to conserve battery.
  • Safety First: Always use the anti-glare feature to avoid dazzling other road users, especially in urban environments.
  • Stay Charged: Regularly check the battery indicator (on KX12D Pro) or charge the light every few rides to ensure you always have sufficient power.
  • Dual Functionality: Remember your bike light can double as a power bank for your phone, which can be very useful on longer rides.
  • Secure Mounting: Always ensure the light is securely mounted to your handlebar to prevent it from falling off during bumpy rides.

10. Safety Information

  • Eye Safety: Do not shine the light directly into your or others' eyes. The high intensity can cause temporary vision impairment.
  • Flammable Materials: Keep the bike light away from flammable and explosive materials.
  • Children: Place the bicycle lights correctly and keep them out of reach of children to avoid accidents.
  • Water Immersion: While IPX5 rated for water resistance, do not immerse the light in water.
  • Proper Use: Use the product only for its intended purpose as a bicycle headlight.
