Introduction
This manual provides instructions for the OLEVS 2897 Quartz Watch. Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper use and maintenance of your watch. This elegant timepiece features a quartz movement, a durable stainless steel case and band, and a multi-functional dial with a unique flywheel design and diamond accents.
Safety Information
- Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures (hot or cold) or sudden temperature changes.
- Do not expose the watch to strong magnetic fields, as this may affect the accuracy of the quartz movement.
- Keep the watch away from harsh chemicals, solvents, and detergents, which can damage the case, band, or seals.
- Ensure the crown is pushed in completely after setting to maintain water resistance.
Product Overview
The OLEVS 2897 watch combines classic design with modern functionality. Key features include a quartz movement for precise timekeeping, a chronograph function, luminous hands and markers for visibility in low light, and water resistance up to 30 meters.
Components:
- Crown: Used for setting time and date.
- Pushers: Used to operate the chronograph functions.
- Main Dial: Displays hours, minutes, and seconds.
- Sub-dials: Typically for chronograph minutes/seconds and 24-hour display.
- Flywheel Design: A decorative element on the dial.
- Luminous Hands/Markers: Glow in the dark for readability.

Setup
Setting the Time:
- Pull the crown out to the second click position.
- Turn the crown to set the hour and minute hands.
- Push the crown back in to the normal position.
Setting the Date (if applicable):
- Pull the crown out to the first click position.
- Turn the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise (depending on the model) to set the date.
- Push the crown back in to the normal position.
Adjusting the Metal Band:
The stainless steel band may require adjustment for a comfortable fit. This typically involves removing or adding links. It is recommended to have this adjustment performed by a professional watchmaker or jeweler to prevent damage to the band or clasp.
Operating the Watch
Chronograph Function:
The OLEVS 2897 features a chronograph for measuring elapsed time. The sub-dials typically indicate chronograph seconds, minutes, and a 24-hour display.
- Start: Press the upper pusher to start the chronograph. The chronograph second hand will begin to move.
- Stop: Press the upper pusher again to stop the chronograph. The elapsed time will be indicated by the chronograph hands.
- Reset: Press the lower pusher to reset the chronograph hands to their zero positions. Ensure the chronograph is stopped before resetting.
Note: The chronograph hands only move when the chronograph function is activated. They do not continuously turn as part of the regular time display.
Luminous Display:
The watch hands and markers are coated with a luminous material, providing visibility in low-light conditions after exposure to light. The intensity and duration of the glow depend on the exposure time and intensity of light.

Maintenance
Cleaning:
Wipe the watch case and band regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. For stainless steel bands, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
Water Resistance:
The OLEVS 2897 watch is water-resistant up to 30 meters (3 ATM). This means it is suitable for daily use, such as hand washing, rain, and accidental splashes. It is NOT suitable for showering, bathing, swimming, diving, or any water sports where the watch might be submerged for extended periods or subjected to high water pressure.
Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in to maintain water resistance. Do not operate the crown or pushers when the watch is wet or submerged.
Battery Replacement:
The watch is powered by a quartz movement and requires a battery. When the watch stops or its accuracy decreases significantly, the battery may need replacement. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.
Troubleshooting
- Watch not running: Check if the crown is fully pushed in. If the watch still does not run, the battery may need replacement.
- Inaccurate timekeeping: Ensure the watch has not been exposed to strong magnetic fields. If the issue persists, the movement may require servicing.
- Chronograph hands not moving: The chronograph hands only move when the chronograph function is activated using the pushers. They are not part of the continuous time display. If they do not respond when activated, ensure the watch is not in a low power state or the battery is not depleted.
- Water inside the watch: If moisture or condensation appears inside the watch, have it inspected by a professional immediately to prevent further damage to the movement.

- Band Adjustment: For optimal comfort and to prevent damage, consider having the metal watch band adjusted by a professional jeweler.
- Water Exposure: While the watch is water-resistant for splashes and rain, avoid prolonged submersion or wearing it during showers, baths, or swimming to protect the internal components.
