3. Setup

3.1 Package Contents

Before setup, ensure all items are present:

3.2 Power Connection

1. Locate the charging port on the projector.
2. Connect the provided power cable to the projector and a suitable DC 5V power source.
3. If you have the rechargeable version, ensure it is fully charged before initial use for optimal battery life.

3.3 Placement

Place the projector on a stable, flat surface. For optimal projection, ensure there are no obstructions between the projector and the ceiling/walls where you wish to display the effects.

4. Operating Instructions

The projector is controlled via its integrated buttons. Refer to the diagram below for button identification.

4.1 Power On/Off and Restart

• Power On/Off: Short press the Switch button to power the device on or off. Upon powering on, the Northern Lights will activate with a circular gradient, green star breathing, and starry sky projection effect.
• Restart: If the projection lamp becomes unresponsive, press and hold the Switch button for 4 seconds to restart it.
• Automatic Shutdown: The lamp will automatically shut down after 8 hours of continuous operation to protect the lamp beads and ensure a long service life.

4.2 Northern Lights Color & Brightness Adjustment

• Color Switching: Short press the Aurora Borealis colour & brightness adjustment keys to cycle through the following colors: White light > Blue and white light > Green and white light > Blue light > Blue-green light > Green light > Red light > Red and blue light > Red, blue and white light > Color cycle gradient.
• Brightness Adjustment: Long press the Aurora Borealis colour & brightness adjustment keys to adjust the brightness. The brightness will cycle from lowest to highest and back. The light will flash twice when it reaches the highest or lowest brightness setting.

4.3 Projection Mode Switching

Short press the Projection mode switch button to change the projection effect in the following sequence:

1. Northern Lights effect only
2. Green stars with breathing effect
3. Star projection effect only
4. Green stars breathing + star projection effect
5. Northern Lights + star projection effect
6. Northern Lights + green star breathing effect
7. Northern Lights + starry sky projection + green star breathing effect

4.4 Music Switching & Volume Adjustment

Use the Music switching & volume adjustment keys to control audio playback and volume.

4.5 Bluetooth Connection

To use the built-in Bluetooth speaker:

1. Ensure the projector is powered on.
2. On your mobile phone or Bluetooth-enabled device, open the settings and navigate to the Bluetooth menu.
3. Turn on Bluetooth.
4. Search for available devices and select “WH-E12B” to connect.
5. Once connected, you can play audio through the projector's speaker.

4.6 Timer Off Button

Use the Timer off button to set a timer for automatic shutdown.

5. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your projector:

• Cleaning: Gently wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Keep the lens clean for clear projections.
• Storage: Store the projector in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Projector is unresponsive or stuck

• Solution: Press and hold the Switch button for 4 seconds to perform a restart. This should resolve most temporary issues.

6.2 No projection or dim projection

• Check Power: Ensure the projector is properly connected to a power source or that the rechargeable battery is charged.
• Adjust Brightness: Use the Aurora Borealis color & brightness adjustment keys to increase brightness.
• Clean Lens: Gently clean the HD lens with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove any dust or smudges.

6.3 Bluetooth not connecting

• Ensure Projector is On: Make sure the projector is powered on.
• Bluetooth Enabled: Verify Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
• Search for Correct Device: Confirm you are selecting “WH-E12B” from the list of available Bluetooth devices.
• Distance: Ensure your device is within the Bluetooth range of the projector.
• Restart Both Devices: Try restarting both your mobile device and the projector.
