4. Setup

Before operating your tattoo pen, ensure it is fully charged and you have selected the appropriate needle cartridge.

4.1 Charging the Device

Connect the tattoo pen to a compatible Type-C charging cable. The display will show a charging symbol. Once fully charged, the display will indicate the actual battery status.

4.2 Attaching Needle Cartridges

Carefully insert the desired needle cartridge into the front of the tattoo pen. Ensure it is securely seated. The kit includes Poseidon Tattoo Cartridge Needles (1205RL and 1007CM).

4.3 Adjusting Needle Length

The needle length can be adjusted from 1 mm to 4.2 mm by rotating the grip of the tattoo pen. This allows for precise control over needle depth.

5. Operating Instructions

The tattoo machine is controlled via the power button and plus/minus function buttons. The operational steps are as follows:

  1. Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button for 1.5 seconds to turn the machine on or off.
  2. Start/Pause Motor: After turning on, press the power button to activate the motor and start the timer. Press again to pause.
  3. Battery Status Display: Each time you press the power button to activate the motor, the battery symbol will be displayed on the screen.
  4. Strong Start Mode: Double-press the function buttons after starting to switch to strong start mode. The highest speed will be maintained for 0.5 seconds, then it will return to the set speed.
  5. Speed Adjustment: Use the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons to adjust the voltage in increments of +/-0.1V. Hold the buttons down for continuous adjustment. The voltage range is between 4.0V and 12.0V, with a default setting of 8V.
  6. Memory Function: The machine will restore the previously set speed or mode when powered on again.
  7. Display Auto-off/Sleep: The display will automatically turn off after 10 seconds of inactivity and enter sleep mode after 5 minutes of inactivity.
  8. Low Battery Reminder: When the battery status reaches 79%, the battery symbol will blink as a reminder.
  9. Charging During Operation: The Type-C charging function is available during operation. The display will show the charging symbol, and then the actual battery status will be shown again and blink.
  10. Automatic Threading/Unthreading: If threading is not performed again within 5 minutes, automatic threading and unthreading will occur.
  11. Reverse Stitching Function: The timer runs when the motor is active and pauses when the machine is paused. The timer resets each time the power button is pressed to pause.
  12. Function Keys Setup: The function keys (M) offer two options. After pressing the function button, it switches to the selected option, and the corresponding setting is displayed. Use the plus/minus buttons to set the stitching length or frequency. The setting can be changed by rotating the function button. Press the power button to exit the setting, or hold it down for 5 seconds for automatic setup.
  13. Clamping Mode: Press the function button (M) to switch between clamping mode and normal mode. Press M again to switch within the clamping frequency range. Use the plus/minus buttons to set the frequency (e.g., 20NPS10HZ). Hold for 5 seconds for automatic setup.

6. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your tattoo machine. Always ensure the device is powered off and disconnected from any power source before cleaning or performing maintenance.

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the exterior of the tattoo pen with a soft, damp cloth. Use appropriate sterilization solutions for parts that come into contact with skin or ink, following industry standards.
  • Needle Cartridges: Always use new, sterile needle cartridges for each client. Dispose of used cartridges safely and responsibly.
  • Storage: Store the tattoo machine and its components in a clean, dry, and safe environment when not in use.

7. Troubleshooting
