5. Installation
The taillight offers quick and easy installation without tools, using either the saddle mount or seatpost mount.

- Choose Mounting Location: Decide whether to mount the taillight under your bike's seat (using the saddle mount) or on the seatpost (using the seatpost mount).
- Attach Mount:
- For Saddle Mount: Secure the saddle mount to the rails under your seat using the provided zip-ties.
- For Seatpost Mount: Attach the seatpost mount to your seatpost using the provided rubber straps. Ensure it is tight and stable.
- Attach Taillight: Slide the taillight onto the chosen mount until it clicks securely into place.
- Adjust Angle: Adjust the angle of the taillight for optimal visibility.
6. Operation
The taillight features a simple push-button switch for control.

6.1 Power On/Off and Mode Switching
- Power On: Short press the button to turn on the light.
- Switch Modes: Short press the button repeatedly to cycle through the available lighting modes.
- Power Off: Long press the button for a few seconds to turn off the light.
6.2 Lighting Modes
Both Q2 and Q4 models offer 5 lighting modes, including a 7-color breathing flash. The Q4 model integrates smart features into these modes.

6.3 Smart Mode Features (Q4 Only)
The Q4 model features an intelligent taillamp that can start and close automatically based on conditions:

- Automatic Wakeup: In dark light conditions, when riding is detected, the light will automatically turn on.
- Auto Sleep (Bright Light): In bright light conditions, when riding is detected, the light will automatically turn off.
- Auto Sleep (Dark Light): In dark light conditions, if riding stops, the light will turn off after 30 seconds.
- Brake Warning: When braking is detected, the taillight will emit a high-brightness warning light for 3 seconds.

6.4 Brightness Setting
You can adjust the brightness of the red light mode:

- Enter a RED LIGHT mode (short press the power button 5 times to cycle to a red light mode).
- Long press the '+' or '-' button (if available, otherwise cycle through modes) to choose between Low, Medium, or High brightness levels.
- The battery life will vary based on the selected brightness: Low (28-56H), Medium (17-34H), High (8-16H).
7. Charging
The taillight is USB rechargeable, designed for convenience and durability.

- Locate the USB charging port on the side of the taillight. It has an internal interface and is impermeable to rainwater.
- Connect the provided USB cable to the taillight and to a standard USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
- During charging, a blue indicator light will be continuously on.
- Once fully charged (approximately 1 hour), the blue indicator light will turn off.
- Disconnect the cable and ensure the port cover is securely closed to maintain waterproof integrity.
8. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the taillight with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the taillight in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: For optimal battery life, charge the device regularly, even if not used frequently. Avoid completely draining the battery for long periods.
- Inspection: Periodically check the mounting brackets and straps for wear and tear. Ensure they are securely attached before each ride.
9. Troubleshooting
- Light not turning on:
- Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a USB power source and check the charging indicator.
- Press and hold the power button for a few seconds to ensure it's not just in a sleep mode.
- Light not charging:
- Check the USB cable and power source. Try a different cable or adapter.
- Ensure the charging port is clean and free of debris.
- Brake sensing not working (Q4 only):
- Ensure the light is in a Smart Mode.
- Verify the light is securely mounted and not loose, as movement can affect the sensor.
- Light flickering or dim:
- The battery might be low. Recharge the device.
- Ensure the lens is clean.
