4. Setup
4.1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the inclinometer.
- Use a small screwdriver (often included in the package) to open the battery compartment.
- Insert two (2) 1.5V AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2. Package Contents
Upon opening the package, you should find the following items:
- 1 x Digital Bevel Box (Digital Inclinometer)
- 1 x Screwdriver
- 1 x English Instruction Manual (this document)
- 1 x Package Box

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Button Functions
- ON/OFF Button: Short press to turn the device on or off.
- HOLD/Tilt% Button:
- Short press: Activates the data hold function, freezing the current reading on the display.
- Long press (2 seconds): Switches the display between angle (°) and slope percentage (%).
- ZERO Button:
- Used to reset the current measurement to 0.00° for relative measurements.
- Also used during the recalibration process.
5.2. Display Indicators
- When the display shows "▲" on the left side and "▼" on the right side, it indicates the left side is higher and the right side is lower.
- When the display shows "▼" on the left side and "▲" on the right side, it indicates the left side is lower and the right side is higher.
- The display will show "LEVEL" when the surface is level.
- The display will show "HOLD" when the data hold function is active.
- A battery icon indicates battery status.

5.3. Absolute Measuring Mode
In Absolute Measuring Mode, the inclinometer measures the angle relative to a true horizontal (level) surface. The absolute zero position of the instrument is factory-calibrated.
- Turn on the instrument by short pressing the ON/OFF button.
- Place the inclinometer on the surface to be measured. The display will show the angle relative to the absolute level.
5.4. Relative Measuring Mode
The Relative Measuring Mode allows you to set any surface as a reference (zero) and measure subsequent angles relative to that reference.
- Turn on the instrument and place it on your desired reference surface. The display will show the angle comparing to the absolute level.
- Short press the ZERO button. The display will reset to "0.00°". This surface is now your new reference.
- Move the instrument to the surface you wish to measure, or change the angle on the reference surface. The display will show the angle value relative to your set reference.

5.5. Recalibration
The inclinometer is fully calibrated prior to shipment. Recalibrate only if you suspect inaccuracies. This process requires a known level surface.
- Step 1: Place the bottom surface of the instrument onto a known level surface.
- Step 2: While the device is OFF, hold the instrument, press and hold the "ZERO" button, then press the "ON/OFF" button. The LCD will display "CAL1", indicating entry into calibration status. Release both buttons.
- Step 3: Hold the instrument still and press the "ZERO" button. The LCD will display "CAL2".
- Step 4: Rotate the instrument 90 degrees clockwise. Hold it still and press the "ZERO" button again. The LCD will display "CAL3".
- Step 5: Rotate the instrument another 90 degrees clockwise. Hold it still and press the "ZERO" button again. The LCD will display "CAL4".
- Step 6: Rotate the instrument another 90 degrees clockwise. Hold it still and press the "ZERO" button again. The LCD will display "CAL5".
- Step 7: Rotate the instrument a final 90 degrees clockwise (back to the original orientation). Hold it still and press the "ZERO" button again. The LCD will display "PASS", then return to "0.00°". The calibration is now complete.
Note: Ensure the instrument is held perfectly still when pressing the "ZERO" button during recalibration.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the inclinometer in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Replacement: If the battery indicator shows low power or the display becomes dim, replace both AAA batteries promptly. Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
- Avoid Impact: Protect the device from drops or strong impacts, as this can affect its accuracy.
7. Troubleshooting
- Device does not turn on: Check if batteries are installed correctly and have sufficient charge. Replace batteries if necessary.
- Inaccurate readings: Perform a recalibration as described in Section 5.5. Ensure the measurement surface is stable and free from vibrations.
- Display is dim or flickering: Replace the batteries.
8. User Tips
- Dynamic Measurements: While the device provides quick readings, for highly dynamic measurements (e.g., on a moving motorcycle), consider the response time. For instantaneous angle changes, the digital display might have a slight lag.
- Calibration Check: Regularly check the calibration against a known level surface, especially if the device has been dropped or subjected to harsh conditions.
9. Warranty and Support
