7. Setup Guide

7.1. Charging the Drone Battery

  1. Ensure the drone's battery is removed from the helicopter.
  2. Connect the USB charging cable to the drone battery.
  3. Plug the other end of the USB charging cable into a 5V USB power adapter (not included).
  4. The battery's LED indicators will show charging status. Charging takes approximately 60 minutes.
  5. Once fully charged, disconnect the battery from the charger.

7.2. Installing Remote Controller Batteries

  1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote controller.
  2. Insert 4 x AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity.
  3. Close the battery compartment securely.

7.3. Installing the Drone Battery

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the helicopter.
  2. Slide the charged modular battery into the compartment until it clicks securely into place.

7.4. Initial Pairing

  1. Place the helicopter on a flat, level surface.
  2. Turn on the helicopter's power switch. The indicator lights will flash.
  3. Turn on the remote controller's power switch.
  4. Push the left throttle stick (up-and-down) all the way up, then pull it all the way down. The drone's lights will stop flashing and remain solid, indicating successful pairing.
  5. The drone is now ready for flight.

8. Operating Instructions

8.1. Basic Flight Controls

Refer to the Remote Control Guide (Figure 5) for button layout.

  • One-Key Takeoff/Landing: Press the dedicated button on the remote controller for automatic takeoff or landing.

  1. APP Download: Scan the QR code in the product packaging or search for "RC ERA" in your mobile app store.
  2. Connect to Drone Wi-Fi: Turn on the drone, then connect your smartphone to the drone's Wi-Fi network (usually named "RC ERA_XXXX").
