Featuring a 2.4-inch color display, global map support, and extensive sensor compatibility, it provides a rich and intuitive riding experience. This manual will guide you through the setup, operation, and maintenance of your device.

4. Setup

4.1. Charging the Device

The device is powered by a built-in lithium-ion battery. Use a power adapter or a USB port on your computer with a compatible USB-C charging cable.

  1. Lift the weather cap from the USB port.
  2. Connect the USB charging cable.
  3. Charge the device completely.
  4. After charging, unplug the cable and close the weather cap.

Note:

  • Please use a DC5V standard power adapter. Fast charge adapters are not recommended as they may damage the battery.
  • When the battery is low, a low battery icon will be displayed in the upper right corner of the device's home page.
  • Do not overstretch the USB weather cap to maintain its waterproof and dust-proof performance.

4.2. Installing the Standard Bike Mount

Use the included rubber bands to attach the standard bike mount to your bike stem.

  1. Place the rubber disk on the back of the standard bike mount.
  2. Select a suitable place on the bike stem to place the rubber disk and the standard bike mount.
  3. Loop the two rubber bands around the bike stem respectively, hook the buckle of the bike mount and fix it on the bike stem.
  4. Align the tabs on the back of the device with the standard bike mount notches.
  5. Place the device on the bike mount and rotate it by 90 degrees to secure it.

Note:

  • It is recommended to use an iGPSPORT Standard Bike Mount or Out-Front Mount to avoid damaging the tab of the bike computer.

4.3. Pairing Your Smartphone

Pairing your smartphone with the BSC300T allows you to experience richer features through the iGPSPORT APP.

First Pairing

  1. Open the iGPSPORT APP on your smartphone and log in with your iGPSPORT account.
  2. Place the bike computer nearby your smartphone and enter the home page or device page in the APP. Click "Add Device" and then search for "BSC300T". Select it and click "Connect"; the pairing will start.
  3. When "Bluetooth Pairing Request" prompts on your device, click Pair to accept the request.
  4. After successful pairing, the bike computer will be displayed in the device list.
  5. The iGPSPORT APP will then prompt for device settings. Finish your settings and click "Save and Sync"; the settings will be synced to the device.

After successful pairing, the device and the smartphone will be automatically connected via Bluetooth. If it fails, try restarting the smartphone's Bluetooth, the iGPSPORT APP, or the bike computer for pairing again.

Removing Pairing

If you want to pair your bike computer with another smartphone, first remove the current pairing:

  1. Go to "Settings" > "Pair Phone" to view the paired device list.
  2. Click "Unpair Phone" and press to confirm.
  3. When the deletion is completed, the bike computer will restart automatically and the Bluetooth Disconnected icon will be displayed on the device.

Note:

  • Please pair the device based on the instructions in the iGPSPORT APP, rather than using the Bluetooth settings on your smartphone.
  • Ensure your smartphone is connected to the internet and that Bluetooth is enabled.
  • Download the iGPSPORT APP from the AppStore or GooglePlay.
  • For Android users, make sure to enable location permissions for the iGPSPORT APP in your phone's app settings.
  • Do not pair and unpair the device frequently.

5. Operation

5.1. Device Buttons

The BSC300T features 6 physical buttons for control, in addition to its touch screen.

5.8. Smart Notifications

5.10. Large Internal Memory

With 8GB of internal memory and a built-in map, the bike computer can display different roads and terrains. It also supports the import of various route files, providing a wonderful riding experience.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Firmware Update

To ensure the device's best performance, update its firmware timely when a new version is available.

  1. The device will automatically check for firmware updates when connected to Bluetooth.
  2. Alternatively, you can manually check for updates by going to the iGPSPORT APP > "Device" > "Firmware Update".
  3. Depending on the strength of the Bluetooth signal, it may take 3 to 20 minutes. Please be patient during the process.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1. Common Issues

  • Device not turning on or unresponsive: Ensure the device is fully charged. If unresponsive, try a long press on the power button to force a restart.
  • Bluetooth pairing issues: Make sure your smartphone's Bluetooth is enabled and connected to the internet. Perform pairing through the iGPSPORT APP, not directly via your phone's Bluetooth settings. If issues persist, try restarting both the phone's Bluetooth and the bike computer.
  • GPS signal acquisition slow: Ensure the device has a clear view of the sky. AGPS (Assisted GPS) functionality should help speed up acquisition.
  • Navigation not working as expected: Verify that maps are loaded and route files are correctly imported. Check for off-course alerts.

8. User Tips

  • For optimal GPS performance: The BSC300T utilizes a five-satellite GPS system (GPS+BeiDou+GLONASS+Galileo+QZSS), which provides global coverage. It should function reliably in most regions, including areas where other GPS devices might struggle.
  • Charging cable: The device comes with a Type-C charging cable. Always use the provided cable or a compatible Type-C cable for charging.
  • App-based pairing: Always initiate device pairing through the iGPSPORT app for the best experience and to ensure all features are accessible.
