4. Controls and Indicators

  • Power Button: Press and hold to turn the speaker ON/OFF.
  • Mode Button (M): Short press to switch between Bluetooth, AUX, USB, and TF Card modes.
  • Play/Pause Button (▶‖): Press to play or pause audio.
  • Volume Knob: Rotate clockwise to increase volume, counter-clockwise to decrease.
  • Volume Up/Next Track (▲): Short press for volume up, long press for next track.
  • Volume Down/Previous Track (▼): Short press for volume down, long press for previous track.
  • Bass Boost Button (BASS): Press to activate/deactivate enhanced bass.
  • RGB Light Button (Light Icon): Press to cycle through light modes or turn lights ON/OFF.
  • Battery Indicator Lights: Displays current battery level.
  • USB Port: For USB drive playback.
  • TF Card Slot: For TF (MicroSD) card playback.
  • AUX Input: 3.5mm jack for wired audio connection.

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Speaker

  1. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the speaker's Type-C port.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a 5V/2A USB power adapter (not included).
  3. The battery indicator lights will show charging status. Once fully charged, the lights will indicate a full battery.

5.2 Attaching/Detaching the Handle

The speaker features a portable handle for easy transport. It can be attached or detached as needed.

  1. Portable Design: The speaker comes with a handle for easy carrying.
  2. Swivel Button: Locate the swivel buttons on each side of the handle's attachment points.
  3. Decomposer: Press the swivel button and gently pull the handle out of its slot.
  4. Decomposition Complete: The handle can be fully removed for storage or preference. To reattach, align the handle ends with the slots and push until they click into place.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the Power button until the speaker powers on and the LED lights illuminate.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the Power button again until the speaker powers off.

6.2 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Turn on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode (indicated by a flashing LED).
  2. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for "HOPESTAR PARTY-300" in the list of available devices.
  3. Select "HOPESTAR PARTY-300" to connect. A confirmation sound will indicate successful pairing.
  4. Once paired, the speaker will automatically connect to the last paired device when turned on, if within range.

6.3 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

TWS allows you to connect two HOPESTAR Party-300 speakers for a stereo sound experience.

  1. Ensure both Party-300 speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
  2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), press and hold the Mode button (M) for a few seconds until you hear a TWS pairing prompt.
  3. The two speakers will automatically search and connect to each other. A confirmation sound will indicate successful TWS pairing.
  4. Once paired, connect your mobile device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in section 6.2. Audio will now play through both speakers in stereo.

6.4 Karaoke Function with Wireless Microphone

The Party-300 comes with a wireless microphone for karaoke fun.

  • Turn on the wireless microphone. It should automatically connect to the speaker.
  • Adjust the microphone volume using the controls on the microphone itself or the speaker's main volume control.
  • Play music via Bluetooth, AUX, USB, or TF card and sing along.

6.5 RGB Flashing LED Lights

Enhance your party atmosphere with dynamic RGB lighting.

  • Press the Light button (light icon) on the top panel to turn the RGB lights ON/OFF.
  • Repeatedly press the Light button to cycle through different light modes and patterns.

6.6 Playback Modes (AUX, USB, TF Card)

  • AUX Mode: Connect an external audio device using the 3.5mm audio cable to the AUX input port. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode or you can select it using the Mode button.
  • USB Mode: Insert a USB flash drive with MP3/WAV audio files into the USB port. The speaker will automatically detect and play music from the drive.
  • TF Card Mode: Insert a TF (MicroSD) card with MP3/WAV audio files into the TF card slot. The speaker will automatically detect and play music from the card.
  • Use the Play/Pause, Volume Up/Down, and Track Skip buttons to control playback in these modes.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, fully charge the speaker before first use and at least once every three months if not used regularly. Avoid completely draining the battery frequently.
  • Water Resistance: While IPX5 waterproof, avoid submerging the speaker in water. Ensure all port covers are securely closed before exposure to water splashes.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Experiment with the different sound modes (e.g., Extra Bass Mode) to find your preferred audio profile for various music genres.

10. Safety Information

  • Do not expose the speaker to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or open flames.
  • Keep the speaker away from strong magnetic fields.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify the speaker yourself. This will void the warranty and may cause damage or injury.
  • Use only the specified charging voltage (5V/2A) to avoid damage to the battery and speaker.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
