2. Install Mounting Bracket
- Clip Mount: Slide the clip mount between the helmet shell and the inner padding. Secure it firmly.

Slide the Maxto M6S unit onto the installed mounting bracket until it clicks securely into place.
4. Install Speakers and Microphone
- Place the speakers inside the helmet's ear pockets using the provided Velcro pads. Ensure they are positioned directly over your ears for optimal sound quality.
- Attach the microphone to the inside of the helmet, near your mouth, ensuring it is not obstructed and can pick up your voice clearly. Route the cables neatly under the helmet padding.
- Connect the speaker and microphone cables to the corresponding ports on the Maxto M6S unit.
5. Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the device using the provided USB data cable. The charging time is approximately 2.5 hours.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the exterior of the intercom unit. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Water Resistance: The Maxto M6S is IP67 waterproof, meaning it is protected against dust and can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. However, avoid prolonged submersion and ensure all ports are securely closed before exposure to water.
- Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use. If storing for an extended period, charge the battery periodically to maintain its health.
- Battery Care: The device features ultra-low power management. For optimal battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.

Troubleshooting
- Device not powering on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a power source and try again.
- Cannot pair with phone: Make sure the M6S is in pairing mode (rapidly flashing indicator light) and your phone's Bluetooth is enabled. Try restarting both devices.
- Intercom connection issues: Ensure all devices are within the 500-1000m range and are in the correct intercom mode. If a rider leaves the group, the device should automatically reconnect upon return.
- Poor sound quality/noise: Check speaker and microphone placement. Ensure the microphone is close to your mouth and not obstructed. The intelligent noise reduction feature (DSP, CVC algorithm) should minimize ambient and wind noise.
- Intercom with other brands: The Maxto M6S uses its own automatic networking protocol. While it supports standard Bluetooth connections for phones, direct mesh intercom compatibility with other brands like Cardo or Sena is not explicitly stated and may not be supported.

User Tips
- Intercom with other brands: While the M6S offers robust group intercom features, its automatic networking protocol is designed for Maxto devices. Compatibility with mesh systems from other brands like Cardo or Sena is not guaranteed. For mixed-brand communication, standard Bluetooth pairing for phone calls might be the only option.
- Optimal Sound: Ensure speakers are directly over your ears and the microphone is positioned to minimize wind noise for the best audio experience.
- Rotary Knob: Utilize the oversized rotary knob for quick adjustments while riding, as it's designed for easy manipulation even with gloves.
