5. Troubleshooting
5.1 Connectivity Issues
- Thermostat not connecting to Wi-Fi/App: Ensure your Zigbee gateway is properly set up and connected to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Verify that your phone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled and that the Smart Life App has necessary permissions. Follow the "Add Device" steps carefully.
- Zigbee vs. Wi-Fi models: The T5Z model is a Zigbee thermostat and requires a Zigbee gateway to connect to the internet and the Smart Life App. If you have a T5W (Wi-Fi) model, it connects directly to Wi-Fi without a gateway. Ensure you have the correct model for your setup.
5.2 Power and Display

- Thermostat not responding to commands: Check if the child-lock is activated. Deactivate it by pressing and holding "+" and "-" for 3 seconds.
5.3 Temperature Control
- Inaccurate temperature readings: Perform temperature calibration in the advanced settings if you suspect the readings are off.
- Heating not turning on/off as expected: Verify the current operating mode (Manual or Auto) and check the weekly programming schedule if in Auto mode. Ensure the wiring to the boiler is correct.
