  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
  • Software Updates: Check the manufacturer's website periodically for firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and access to new features.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Device Will Not Power On

  • Ensure the battery is sufficiently charged. Connect the device to a power source and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on again.
  • Try a different charging cable or power adapter to rule out accessory issues.

7.2 Poor Recording Quality

  • Ensure the microphones are not obstructed.
  • Check the recording environment for excessive background noise. The device's denoising algorithm works best within its design parameters.
  • Verify that the recording distance is within the recommended 15-meter range.

7.3 Transcription Errors or Inaccuracies

  • Ensure the correct transcription language/dialect is selected.
  • Speak clearly and at a moderate pace during recording for best transcription results.
  • Minimize background noise during recording.

7.4 Device Not Recognized by Computer

  • Ensure the Type-C cable is securely connected to both the device and the computer.
  • Try connecting to a different USB port on your computer.
  • Restart both the device and the computer.

8. User Tips

  • Confidentiality: The SR302 Pro stores recordings and transcriptions locally. Files can only be copied via a data cable, making it suitable for confidential scenarios such as government meetings or closed-door discussions where network access is restricted or security is paramount.
  • Optimal Recording Placement: For best results, especially in larger rooms, position the recorder centrally to leverage its omnidirectional microphones for 360-degree sound pickup. For specific speakers, orient the directional microphones towards them.
  • Battery Management: While the 2000mAh battery offers significant usage time, for long events, consider carrying a portable power bank to ensure uninterrupted recording.
