5. Setup and Programming

The remote control uses 10 dip switches for coding. To program your new remote, you must match the dip switch settings of your existing remote control or the receiver unit.

5.1. Accessing the Dip Switches

  1. Locate the battery cover on the back of the remote control.
  2. Slide the battery cover in the direction of the keyring tab to remove it. This will reveal the internal circuit board, battery, and the 10 dip switches.

5.2. Setting the Dip Switches

  1. Carefully observe the ON/OFF (or UP/DOWN) positions of the 10 dip switches on your existing, working remote control or your garage door/gate receiver.
  2. Using a small, non-conductive tool (like a toothpick), adjust the dip switches on your new remote control to exactly match the pattern of your existing device.
  3. Once the dip switches are set, slide the battery cover back into place until it clicks securely.

6. Operation

After successful programming, operating your remote control is straightforward:

  1. Point the remote control towards your garage door or gate receiver.
  2. Press and hold the red button on the remote control. The LED indicator light should illuminate.
  3. Your garage door or gate should activate. Release the button once the operation begins.
