    • Ensure the Ethernet cable is securely connected to both the module and your network device (router/switch).
    • Confirm your network settings are correct and the camera's IP address (default 192.168.1.10) is not conflicting with other devices.
    • Note: This camera module supports IP/Network Wired connectivity only. It does NOT support Wi-Fi.
  • Cannot Access via Web Browser/CMS:
    • Check if the camera's IP address is correct.
    • Ensure your computer is on the same network segment as the camera.
    • Verify the default login credentials (username: admin, no password).
  • Poor Image Quality:
    • Clean the camera lens.
    • Adjust the focus of the lens if it's a manual focus type.
    • Check lighting conditions and adjust Day/Night mode settings if necessary.

10. User Tips

  • Initial Setup: Always connect the camera module directly to a PC or a network segment where you can easily access its default IP address for initial configuration before integrating it into a larger network.
  • Security: Change the default password immediately after initial setup to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Lens Selection: Choose the appropriate lens (e.g., 1.7mm fisheye for wider view, 8mm for narrower/longer distance) based on your specific monitoring needs.
  • NVR Compatibility: For optimal performance and recording, use an XM-NVR or a compatible NVR that supports H.265/H.265+ video decoding.
