The GRD9L-W is designed for DIN rail mounting (EN/IEC 60715).

5. Networking Settings

The GRD9L-W can be controlled remotely via the Tuya Smart APP.

5.1. Install APP

Scan the QR code below to download the Tuya Smart APP, or search for 'Tuya Smart' in your device's app store.

5.2. Add Device

Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network, as this product does not support 5G WiFi.

  1. Open the Tuya Smart APP.
  2. Click the 'Add Device' button and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the device addition.
  3. Once added, the main interface of the APP will display the device icon, and the WiFi indicator on the device will be ON. You can now control the device through the APP.

5.3. Reconfigure WiFi

If you need to change your WiFi network or restore factory settings:

  1. Via APP: If you no longer use this device, you can delete it from the APP, which will restore its factory settings. Then, you can add the device again through the APP.
  2. Manual Reset: Operate the button 5 times within 5 seconds to restore the factory status and reconfigure WiFi. The device will re-enter the WiFi configuration state, indicated by the WiFi indicator flashing. You can then add the device again through the APP.

The GRD9L-W features both automatic and manual operation modes, along with an LED indicator for status.

  • AUTO Mode: When the selector switch is in the 'AUTO' position, closing and opening commands can be sent remotely through the Tuya APP.
  • MANU Mode: When the selector switch is in the 'MANU' position, sending closing and opening commands through the APP will be invalid. The device must be operated manually.

  • When the power is ON, the green light will flash for 2 seconds to wait for the power supply to be stable.
  • When the WiFi connection is normal, the green light remains ON.
  • When the WiFi is in a waiting configuration state, the green light flashes.
  • If a trip fault occurs, the indicator light will turn red.
