1. Introduction

3. Product Overview

3.1 Device Layout and Ports

  • HDMI Connector: Connects directly to your TV's HDMI input.
  • IR Extend Port: For connecting the included IR extender cable, allowing the remote to function even if the stick is out of direct line of sight.
  • Power Port (Micro USB): For connecting the power cable to supply power to the device.

3.2 Remote Control Functions

The included remote control allows for easy navigation and control of your TV Stick. Key buttons include:

  • Power Button: Turns the device on/off or puts it into standby.

4. Setup Guide

  1. Connect to TV: Plug the MXQMini TV Stick directly into an available HDMI port on your television. If the port is difficult to access, use the provided HD (HDMI) extension cable.
  2. Connect Power: Connect the provided USB power cable to the Power Port on the TV Stick and then to a USB power source (e.g., a USB port on your TV or a USB wall adapter, not included). The device is designed to operate without an external power adapter if your TV's USB port provides sufficient power.
  3. Optional IR Extender: If the TV Stick is hidden behind your TV and the remote control signal is obstructed, plug the IR Extend Cable into the IR Extend Port on the TV Stick and position the IR receiver in a visible location.
  4. Select HDMI Input: Turn on your TV and use your TV's remote control to select the correct HDMI input source to which the MXQMini TV Stick is connected.
  5. Initial Boot: The TV Stick will power on automatically and boot into the Android 10 interface.
  6. Remote Control Batteries: Ensure batteries are inserted into the remote control (batteries not included, typically 2x AAA).
  7. Network Connection: Follow the on-screen prompts to connect to your 2.4G WiFi network. Enter your WiFi password when prompted.
  8. Google Account Setup: Sign in with your Google account to access the Google Play Store and other Google services.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Navigation

Use the directional pad and OK button on the remote control to navigate through the Android interface. The Home button will always take you back to the main launcher screen, and the Back button will return you to the previous application or menu.

5.2 Media Playback

The MXQMini TV Stick supports 4K Ultra HD video playback at 30 frames per second, offering a high-quality viewing experience. It also supports HDR10+ for enhanced color and contrast, and H.265/HEVC video decoding for efficient streaming.

5.3 Screen Sharing (Airplay, DLNA, Miracast)

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
  • Ventilation: Ensure the device has adequate ventilation and is not covered, to prevent overheating.
  • Software Updates: The device supports OTA (Over-The-Air) updates. It is recommended to keep the system updated for optimal performance and security. Check for updates periodically through the system settings.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, disconnect the device from power and store it in a cool, dry place.

7. Troubleshooting
