1. Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Mekede Android Car Multimedia Player. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device to ensure proper functionality and safety. Keep this manual for future reference.
This device is designed for BMW 5 Series (E60, E61, E63, E64) and BMW 3 Series (E90, E91, E92) vehicles, compatible with both CCC and CIC original car systems.

2. Safety Information
Your safety is paramount. Please observe the following guidelines:
- Do not watch video or operate the machine while driving. Adjust volume to an optimum level.
- If difficulty arises during operation, safely stop the car before attempting to operate the machine.
- Keep the machine out of reach of children to prevent injury or damage.
- Adhere to traffic rules when using GPS navigation.
- Do not operate the machine in restricted areas (e.g., petrol stations, strong electromagnetic obstruction areas).
- Do not install, maintain, or repair the machine on your own with the power on. Seek professional assistance.
- Avoid installing or storing the machine, especially the LED display screen, directly under sunlight or near hazardous substances. Ensure no direct contact with the air-conditioner's ventilation duct during installation.
- Do not use sharp objects to scratch or vigorously press the display screen.
- Do not expose the machine to humid weather or direct contact with liquid to prevent fire or electrical hazards.
3. Setup and Installation
3.1. Package Contents

3.3. Compatibility with Original Car Systems
This unit is compatible with various BMW original car systems. Identify your car's system (CCC, CIC, NBT, EVO) to ensure correct installation and connection.

Important Note on Audio Output:
This unit outputs sound through AUX. Please confirm that your car has an AUX function before ordering. If there is no AUX on your car, you will need to add an FM transmitter to produce audio. Be aware that the sound quality may not be as good as with a direct AUX connection.
3.4. GPS Antenna Installation Guide
For optimal GPS performance, follow these steps:
- Before affixing the GPS antenna, clean the designated surface thoroughly.
- Remove the backing from the adhesive tape and firmly press the GPS antenna onto the cleaned surface.
- Route the cable: Remove the side cover of your car's interior. Guide the GPS antenna cable through the storage box until it reaches the control panel where the multimedia player will be installed.
- Secure the cable: Use cable ties to secure the GPS antenna cable to prevent it from interfering with other components or becoming loose.
- Connect the GPS antenna's plug to the corresponding port on the multimedia player.
Notes for GPS Antenna Installation:
- Ensure the system power is OFF when connecting the GPS antenna.
- Do not shorten or extend the GPS cable, as this may cause short circuits or malfunctions.
- Install the antenna on a leveled surface with minimal obstructions to radio waves.
- Avoid interfering with the steering wheel or gear lever with the GPS antenna.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Basic Operation Settings
Power On / Off
- When ACC (Accessory power) is connected, press the power button on the front panel to switch on the machine.
- To switch off, turn off the engine and unplug the car key.
Volume Adjustment
Press the "+" or "-" buttons on the front panel (or VOL+/VOL- on some models) to adjust the volume.
Mute Control
Press the left volume button to display the volume bar. Press the media volume icon to MUTE.
Backlight Control
Adjust the backlight in the Display Setting under Car Settings.
Camera View
The screen automatically switches to rear view when the car is in reverse.
Playback Mode and Position Memory
When the machine reboots, it will resume the last mode (radio channel, music, or video) played before shutdown.
4.2. System Settings
Touch the "Settings" icon on the front panel to enter the Settings interface. Scroll to find desired options.

Network & Internet (Wi-Fi Connection)
- Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi.
- Ensure Wi-Fi is switched ON.
- Search for your desired Wi-Fi hotspot.
- Enter the password and touch "Connect".
You can also set up a personal hotspot and VPN in this section.

Car Infotainment General Settings
Access settings for Assistant, Dwell timing, Power button ends call, and Touch & hold delay.
Touch Assist
Enable or disable the touch assist feature. It provides 7 commonly used options for easy maneuver.
Reverse Volume Control
Adjust the volume suppression when reversing. Options: None, Weak, Medium, Strong. "None" means no change, "Strong" means maximum lowering.
Display Settings
Adjust background brightness for day and night. The display screen resolution should correspond to the original car's settings for optimal display quality.
Volume Options
Adjust volume for various system components as desired.
Sound Effect (DSP)
Enter the sound effect interface to access different sound modes and 32 equalizer adjustments. Adjust speaker balance using the four arrows. Touch the restore icon to reset to default balance.

Video Option (Video in Motion)
Enable or disable video playback while the car is in motion. It is recommended to enable this option for safety.
Reversal Warning Line
Enable this option to see the distance to the warning line on the display during reverse, especially if your car's camera does not have this feature.
Navigation Settings
Pair pre-installed navigation applications with the navigation button. You can also adjust the Navi Mixed volume.
Bluetooth Settings
Enable Bluetooth for hands-free calling and music streaming.
- Pairing: Activate Bluetooth on your mobile phone, search for the device (e.g., BT5454), enter PIN (0000), and connect. "CONNECTED" will appear.
- Auto Connect: The machine will automatically search and connect to the last connected device.
- Auto Answer: Automatically answers incoming calls.
- Making Calls: Dial directly on the screen. Use the "X" icon to delete incorrect numbers. Press the call icon to initiate or hang up.
- Syncing Contacts: Touch the sync icon to download contacts from your phone.
- Bluetooth Music: Stream music from your phone. Supports "Previous", "Next", "Pause", and "Play" controls.

Settings related to door alarm, display size, mouse control, and speed units.
5. Maintenance
5.1. Maintaining the LCD Screen
- Turn off the power before cleaning the LCD screen.
- Wipe the screen with a soft fabric to prevent scratches.
- Do not use wet towels, benzene, or chemical cleaners on the LCD screen.
5.2. Display Screen Notes
- Avoid exposing the display screen to direct sunlight or heat for extended periods.
- The display screen should be used within operating temperatures of -10℃ to +50℃ and storage temperatures of -20°C to +80℃.
- Small black or bright dots may appear on the LCD screen; this is a specification, not a defect.
- In cold areas, the LCD screen may be dimmer initially but will adjust to normal brightness.
6. Troubleshooting Guide
If you encounter any issues, refer to the table below for quick solutions. If problems persist, contact professional support.

8. Warranty and Support
Your Mekede Android Car Multimedia Player comes with a comprehensive warranty and support:
- Warranty Period: 12 months Manufacturer's limited Warranty for defective items (excluding items damaged and/or misused after receipt). Accessories come with a 3-month warranty.
- Defective Items: Must be reported and returned within the warranty period (and in original packaging if possible). Provide defect details and order number.
- Warranty Exclusions: We do not repair or replace items with an expired warranty.
- Free Replacement: 365 Days free replacement warranty terms and conditions apply. Contact seller, confirm quality problems, return item, seller receives return, seller sends a new one.
