1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your LUCKING DOOR Metal Fingerprint Door Access Control System. This intelligent access control machine offers multiple unlocking methods including fingerprint, RFID card, password, and Tuya APP control, ensuring enhanced security and convenience for your premises. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and use to ensure proper functionality and safety.

2. Safety Information

• Ensure the power supply is disconnected before performing any wiring or installation.
• Only use the specified DC12V power supply.
• Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures or corrosive environments.
• Avoid strong impacts or dropping the device.
• Keep the device away from children.
• For outdoor installation, ensure proper sealing and protection against direct water exposure, despite its IP67 rating.

5. Setup Instructions

5.1 Wiring Diagram

Carefully follow the wiring diagram below. Incorrect wiring can damage the device or connected components. It is recommended to have a qualified technician perform the wiring.

5.2 Tuya Bluetooth Settings and App Setup

The device integrates with the Tuya Smart Home platform for remote management and control via your smartphone.

1. Download the Tuya App: Scan the QR code below or search for "Tuya Smart" in your app store (Google Play Store or Apple App Store) to download and install the application.

2. Register and Log In: Open the Tuya App. If you are a new user, click the login button, then register for a new account. If you already have an account, log in. You can also use third-party accounts like QQ or WeChat to log in after authorization.

3. Add Equipment: After logging in, navigate to the home page. Click the "+" icon on the top right to add a new device. Ensure your device is in pairing mode (refer to the device's display for pairing instructions). The app will automatically search for nearby Bluetooth devices. Select your access control system from the discovered devices and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Keypad Operation

• * Key: Return/Cancel.
• # Key: Confirmation/Enter.
• 2 Key: Navigate Up. Long press '2' to scroll up quickly.
• 0 Key: Navigate Down. Long press '0' to scroll down quickly.

6.2 Adding Users (Administrator and Normal Users)

The system supports adding up to 300 fingerprints, 1000 RFID cards, and 1000 passwords.

1. Adding Administrator Fingerprint:

   • In the Tuya App, navigate to User Management and select 'Add Fingerprint' for an administrator.
   • Follow the app's instructions to place your finger on the fingerprint recognition area of the lock and remove it when prompted. Repeat this procedure several times until the fingerprint is successfully added.

2. Adding Administrator Password:

   • In the Tuya App, navigate to User Management and select 'Add Password' for an administrator.
   • Enter your desired password (8-10 digits) in the app and confirm.

3. Adding Administrator Card:

   • In the Tuya App, navigate to User Management and select 'Add Card' for an administrator.
   • Swipe the RFID card over the recognition area of the device when prompted by the app.

4. Adding Normal User (via Keypad):

   • On the device keypad, press '*' then '#' to enter the administrator menu.
   • Enter the administrator information (fingerprint, password, or card) to access the menu.
   • Navigate to 'User Setting' -> 'Add User' -> 'Normal User'.
   • Follow the on-screen prompts to add a fingerprint, RFID card, or password for the normal user. For passwords, you will need to enter it twice for confirmation.

6.3 Unlocking the Door

The system supports multiple unlocking methods:

• Fingerprint: Place your registered finger on the fingerprint sensor.
• RFID Card: Swipe your registered RFID card over the card reader area.
• Password: Enter your registered password on the keypad and press '#'.
• Tuya APP: Open the Tuya App, select the device, and press the unlock button on the app interface.

6.4 Regular Open Mode

To set the device to a temporarily open state:

• After successfully unlocking the door, enter "*" then "#" on the keypad within 3 seconds.
• The device will enter a regular open state, and the indicator will turn purple.
• To exit the regular open state, repeat the process or wait for the set duration (if configured).

6.5 Temporary Unlocking Setting (via Tuya App)

For temporary access, you can set time-limited or single-use unlocks via the Tuya App:

1. Open the Tuya App and navigate to the device's home page.
2. Click "Temporary" at the bottom of the home page to enter the "Add temporary lock" page.
3. Set the desired time limit or select a single-use option for the temporary unlock.

6.6 Viewing Unlocking Records

The Tuya App allows you to view a history of all door opening events.

• Open the Tuya App and navigate to the device's home page.
• Look for an option like "Unlocking Records" or "Logs" to view the history of who unlocked the door and when.

7. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the surface or screen.
• Fingerprint Sensor: Keep the fingerprint sensor clean and dry for optimal performance.
• Firmware Updates: Periodically check the Tuya App for any available firmware updates for your device to ensure it has the latest features and security patches.
• Regular Checks: Ensure all wiring connections remain secure and free from corrosion.

8. Troubleshooting

• Device not responding: Check the DC12V power supply connection. Ensure it is securely connected and providing power.
• Fingerprint not recognized: Ensure your finger is clean and dry. Try re-registering your fingerprint if the issue persists.
• RFID card not working: Ensure the card is correctly placed over the reader. Verify the card is properly registered in the system.
• Password not accepted: Double-check the entered password. Ensure the keypad is clean and responsive.
• Tuya App connection issues: Ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth is enabled and the device is within range. Check your Wi-Fi connection if the device uses Wi-Fi for remote access.
• Door does not unlock after successful authentication: Check the connection to the electric lock. Ensure the lock mechanism is not jammed.

9. User Tips

• Outdoor Use: The device is IP67 waterproof, making it suitable for outdoor installation. However, for prolonged durability, consider installing it under a protective cover to shield it from direct heavy rain or intense sunlight.
• Administrator Access: Always ensure you have at least one administrator fingerprint, card, and password registered. This provides multiple backup methods to access the system if one method fails or is forgotten.
• Password Security: Use strong, unique passwords and avoid sharing them. Change administrator passwords periodically.
• Record Keeping: Regularly check the unlocking records in the Tuya App to monitor access to your premises.
