  • General Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the headset with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid getting moisture into any openings.
  • Storage: Store the headset in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use a protective case if available to prevent scratches and dust accumulation.
  • Avoid Impact: Handle the headset with care to prevent drops or impacts, which could damage internal components or the display.

9. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your GOOVIS G3X/Pro, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

Q: No image or black screen when connected.
A: Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the headset and the source device. If using the HDMI adapter, verify both HDMI and USB-C connections are firm. Confirm your source device is configured to output video via its USB-C port or HDMI port. Some devices require specific settings to enable external display output.
Q: Image is blurry or out of focus.
A: Adjust the diopter dials for each eye individually until the image is sharp. Also, adjust the Interpupillary Distance (IPD) to match your eye spacing for optimal clarity and to prevent double vision.
Q: No sound or low volume.
A: Check the volume level on the headset using the adjustable button. Ensure the volume on your source device is also turned up. If using external headphones, verify they are properly connected to the 3.5mm jack or correctly paired via Bluetooth.
Q: Headset feels uncomfortable or causes eye strain.
A: Adjust the head strap for a balanced and comfortable fit. Ensure the detachable mask is properly seated. Re-adjust diopter and IPD settings carefully, as incorrect settings can lead to eye strain. Take breaks during extended use.
Q: Headset is fogging up.
A: The headset has an anti-fog cooling system. Ensure the heat dissipation vents are not blocked. If fogging persists, ensure the room temperature is not excessively humid or cold, and allow the headset to acclimate.
Q: Cannot connect to a specific device.
A: Verify that your device supports video output via its USB-C port (DisplayPort Alternate Mode) or HDMI. Some older devices or specific models may not support this feature without additional adapters or drivers. Ensure the correct cables and adapters are being used.
