Setup
1. Installation
Use the provided mounting package to securely attach the M6 headset to your helmet. Ensure the headset is positioned for easy access to controls and optimal microphone placement.
2. Microphone Selection and Installation
- Soft Microphone: Ideal for integral or full-face helmets. Position it close to your mouth inside the helmet.
- Hard Microphone: Suitable for open-face or half-face helmets. Attach it to the helmet's chin bar or a similar stable surface.
Connect the chosen microphone and speakers to the Headset / Charge Socket (6) on the M6 unit.
3. Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the M6 headset using the Mini-USB charging cable connected to the Headset / Charge Socket (6) and a compatible USB power source. The LED indicator (4) will show charging status.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
- Power On: Long press the Function Button (5). The LED indicator (4) will flash.
- Power Off: Long press the Function Button (5) again.
2. Pairing with a Cellphone

- When the device is on, long press the Function Button (5). The red and blue lights will flash alternately, indicating the headset is in pairing mode.
- On your cellphone, switch on Bluetooth and search for available devices. Select "Mornystar M6 Plus" from the list.
- Once connected, a voice message will confirm "pairing complete".
Remark:
After pairing, please ensure both "cellphone audio" and "media audio" options are selected in your phone's Bluetooth settings for proper call and music functionality.
3. Rider-to-Rider Intercom Function

- With both headsets (Headset A and Headset B) powered on, long press the Function Button (5) on both devices simultaneously until the red and blue lights flash to enter pairing mode.
- Short press the Intercom Button (1) on either Headset A or Headset B. The red and blue lights will flash slowly, then the LED indicator will turn blue, indicating the device connection is completed.
- After connection is completed, you can initiate the intercom function by pressing the Intercom Button (1) on either headset.
4. Music Sharing

- Ensure Device A is connected to your cellphone via Bluetooth, and music is either playing or paused.
- Pair Device A and Device B for intercom (ensure they are not currently in an active intercom conversation).
- After successful pairing, press and hold the Intercom Button (1) and Volume + Button (3) on Device A for 2 seconds. The blue light will flash slowly, and a voice prompt "start sharing music" will confirm successful music sharing.
5. FM Radio Operation

- FM Switch On/Off: Press the Intercom Button (1) for 3 seconds when the device is in standby mode (to turn on) or when FM is active (to turn off).
- Volume Up: Short press the Volume + Button (3) once.
- Volume Down: Short press the Volume - Button (2) once.
- Search Previous Station: Long press the Volume - Button (2) for 2 seconds.
- Search Next Station: Long press the Volume + Button (3) for 2 seconds.
6. Voice Command
The M6 headset supports voice command functionality. Refer to your cellphone's voice assistant instructions for activation and usage once paired.
7. GPS Audio Integration
When paired with your cellphone, GPS navigation audio will be transmitted directly to your headset, allowing for clear directional prompts while riding.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the exterior of the headset. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Water Resistance: The M6 headset features a waterproof design. However, avoid submerging it in water or exposing it to extreme moisture for prolonged periods.
- Charging: Always use the provided Mini-USB charging cable. Do not use damaged cables or chargers.
