1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the RAYKUBE SY-12 Smart Padlock. This intelligent padlock offers multiple unlocking methods, including fingerprint, password, and Tuya APP control (depending on the model). Designed for versatility and security, it is suitable for various applications such as luggage, cabinets, and doors. Please read this manual carefully before using the device to ensure proper setup and operation.

The RAYKUBE SY-12 Smart Padlock series provides robust security with convenient access options. Key features include Bluetooth connectivity, IP67 waterproof rating, and a long-lasting CR2032 button cell battery.

2.1 Application Scenarios

This padlock is designed for a wide range of uses, including:

2.2 Model Variations

The SY-12 series comes in four main options, each offering different unlocking functionalities:

• SY-12-TF: Supports Tuya APP and Fingerprint unlocking.
• SY-12-TP: Supports Tuya APP and Password unlocking.
• SY-12-F: Supports Fingerprint unlocking only (does not support APP).
• SY-12-P: Supports Password unlocking only (does not support APP).

Note: Models SY-12-F and SY-12-P do not support the Tuya APP.

4.1 Initial Power-On

Before first use, locate and remove the plastic film on the back of the lock to activate the system.

4.2 Battery Installation/Replacement

The padlock uses a CR2032 button cell battery. To install or replace the battery:

1. Use a flat-blade screwdriver to gently pry open the battery compartment buckle on the side of the lock.
2. Remove the old battery (if replacing).
3. Insert the new CR2032 battery with the anode (positive side, usually marked with a '+') facing up and the cathode (negative side) facing down.
4. Close the battery compartment securely.

4.3 Fingerprint Registration (for SY-12-TF and SY-12-F models)

In the initial mode, any skin contact with the fingerprint recognition area will automatically unlock the device. To register your first fingerprint:

1. After unlocking with your fingerprint, continue to press and hold the fingerprint sensor for approximately 5 seconds.
2. When the blue light comes on, release your finger.
3. Place your finger on the recognition area multiple times consecutively to register the fingerprint.
4. Continue placing and removing your finger until the light goes out and stops, indicating successful registration.

For models supporting the Tuya APP (SY-12-TF), you can also add fingerprints via the app:

4.4 Password Registration (for SY-12-TP and SY-12-P models)

The default password for the padlock is 123456. Input this password to unlock the device initially.

To register a new password:

1. Input the current password (factory default: 123456) to unlock the device.
2. Input 999999. The green light will turn on.
3. Input your desired 6-digit password.
4. The green light blinking indicates that the new password has been successfully set.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Unlocking with Fingerprint (for SY-12-TF and SY-12-F models)

Simply place a registered finger on the fingerprint sensor. The lock will quickly recognize the fingerprint and unlock.

5.2 Unlocking with Password (for SY-12-TP and SY-12-P models)

Enter your registered 6-digit password on the keypad. The lock will unlock upon correct entry.

5.3 Unlocking with Tuya APP (for SY-12-TF and SY-12-TP models)

For models that support the Tuya APP, ensure your phone is near the lock and Bluetooth is enabled. Open the Tuya / Smartlife app, select your padlock, and slide to unlock as prompted in the app interface.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Battery Life and Replacement

The padlock is powered by a CR2032 button cell battery, which offers a super long standby time of up to one year. Refer to section 4.2 for battery replacement instructions.

6.2 Deleting All Fingerprints (for SY-12-TF and SY-12-F models)

To delete all registered fingerprints:

1. Successfully unlock the device with a registered fingerprint.
2. Continue to press and hold the fingerprint sensor. The light color will change during the long press.
3. Release your finger when the light changes from blue to white, then to red.
4. All fingerprint information will be successfully deleted.

6.3 Deleting All Passwords (for SY-12-TP and SY-12-P models)

To delete all registered passwords and restore factory default settings:

1. Input your current password to unlock the device.
2. Input 777777. The red light will turn on.
3. Input your current password again.
4. If successful, the green light will turn on, indicating all passwords are cleared and the device has reverted to factory default. If verification fails, the device will exit the setting mode.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any malfunction or difficulty unlocking the device:

• Try unlocking the device several more times following the instructions provided in this manual.
• If the issue persists, try replacing the button cell battery as described in section 4.2.
