1. Setup

1.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge your GW55 Smart Watch. Connect the magnetic charging cable to the charging contacts on the back of the watch and plug the USB end into a standard USB power adapter (not included).

1.2 App Download and Pairing

  1. Download the App: Search for the 'livefit' app on your smartphone's app store (Google Play Store for Android, Apple App Store for iOS) and install it. The app is compatible with Android 4.5 or above and iOS 8.3 or above.
  2. Enable Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
  3. Open App and Pair: Open the 'livefit' app, follow the on-screen instructions to create an account or log in, and then search for your GW55 Smart Watch to pair. The watch uses BT 5.3BLE (low power consumption) + BT3.0 for one-touch connection.
  4. Grant Permissions: Allow necessary permissions for the app to function correctly (e.g., notifications, location, health data access).

1.3 Basic Watch Settings

Once paired, you can set the watch language, time format, and other preferences directly from the 'livefit' app or through the watch's settings menu.

2. Operating Instructions

2.1 Navigation

  • Touch Screen: The 2.02-inch TFT HD screen supports full-screen touch for navigating menus and selecting options.
  • Rotating Watch Crown: Use the intelligent rotating watch crown on the side for scrolling through lists or adjusting settings.

  • Bluetooth Calls: Make and receive high-definition calls directly from your watch after connecting via Bluetooth. The watch supports one-click dialing and address book synchronization.

2.3 Customization

  • Watch Faces: Choose from multiple local Ultra HD dials or download over 200+ free watch faces from the dial market via the app. Custom dials can also be selected.

3. Maintenance

3.1 Waterproof Rating

The GW55 Smart Watch is IP68 waterproof, meaning it can withstand daily life scenarios such as washing hands and rain. It is not recommended for swimming or diving.

3.2 Cleaning

Wipe the watch and band regularly with a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, use a slightly damp cloth and then dry thoroughly. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

3.3 Charging

Use only the provided magnetic charging cable. Ensure the charging contacts on the watch and cable are clean and dry before charging to prevent corrosion.

3.4 Battery Life

The watch features a high-capacity configuration for long battery life, reducing the need for frequent charging. Actual battery life may vary based on usage patterns and settings.

4. Troubleshooting

  • Watch not turning on: Ensure the watch is fully charged. Connect it to the charger for at least 30 minutes.
  • Cannot pair with phone:
    1. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.
    2. Ensure the watch is within range of your phone.
    3. Restart both the watch and your phone.
    4. Check if the 'livefit' app is updated to the latest version.
    5. Forget the device in your phone's Bluetooth settings and try pairing again through the app.
  • Inaccurate health data:
    1. Ensure the watch is worn snugly on your wrist, but not too tight.
    2. Keep the optical sensor on the back of the watch clean.
    3. Avoid excessive movement during measurements.
  • Notifications not appearing:
    1. Check app permissions on your phone to ensure notification access is granted to 'livefit'.
    2. Verify that notifications are enabled within the 'livefit' app settings for specific applications.
    3. Ensure 'Do Not Disturb' mode is not active on the watch.
  • Short battery life:
    1. Reduce screen brightness.
    2. Limit background app refresh.
    3. Turn off unnecessary features like continuous heart rate monitoring if not needed.
    4. Ensure the watch is not constantly searching for a Bluetooth connection.
