2. Recording Functions

Dual Camera Recording

The H9Plus supports simultaneous recording from both the 4K front camera (170° wide angle) and the 1080P rear camera (150° wide angle, if installed). This ensures comprehensive coverage of your driving environment.

Loop Recording

When the memory card is full, the device will automatically overwrite the oldest video files to continue recording. You can configure the video file length (1, 2, or 5 minutes) in the settings.

Time Lapse Recording

This feature allows continuous recording at 1 frame per second, saving storage space while providing 24-hour monitoring. This is useful for extended parking surveillance.

G-Sensor (Emergency Recording)

The built-in 3-Axis G-Sensor detects sudden impacts or vibrations. When triggered, it automatically records a 20-second video and saves it to a protected folder, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording. Sensitivity can be adjusted (low, medium, high) in settings.

3. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)

The ADAS features provide real-time voice alerts to help prevent accidents. For optimal performance, a GPS active antenna is recommended.

  • Lane Departure Warning (LDW): Alerts you if your vehicle drifts out of its lane. If using a GPS active antenna, this triggers above 50KM/h. Without GPS, it triggers upon any lane departure.
  • Forward Collision Warning (FCW): Warns you of a potential frontal collision.
  • Front Vehicle Departure Warning (FVD): Alerts you when the vehicle in front of you starts moving from a stop. This function requires a GPS Antenna to operate normally.

4. Audio Output Options

The H9Plus offers multiple ways to output audio:

  • Built-in Speaker: Listen to audio directly from the device.
  • Bluetooth Audio: For CarPlay or Android Auto use, connect your phone directly to your car's original Bluetooth system.
  • AUX Out Audio: Use the provided AUX cable to connect to your vehicle's AUX interface for high-fidelity sound.
  • Dual-channel FM Transmitter: Connect to your car's FM radio to broadcast audio through your car's speakers. This connection only needs to be manually set up once.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

  • Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device's screen and body.
  • For stubborn smudges, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-safe cleaner.
  • Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the screen or finish.
  • Ensure the device is powered off and disconnected from power before cleaning.

2. Storage

  • When not in use for extended periods, store the dash cam in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Remove the Micro SD/TF card if you plan to store the device for a long time.

3. Software Updates

Periodically check the Imagebon official website or the Roadcam APP for available firmware updates. Keeping your device updated ensures optimal performance and access to new features.

Troubleshooting

  • Device won't power on: Ensure the car charger is properly connected and the vehicle's cigarette lighter socket is functioning. Check the car's fuse if necessary.
  • Recording issues: Verify that a Class 10 Micro SD/TF card is inserted and formatted. Check if the card is full (loop recording should manage this, but a faulty card can cause issues). Try a different memory card.
  • Screen freezes or lags: Restart the device. Ensure the firmware is up to date.
  • Wi-Fi connection problems: Ensure both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi are enabled on the dash cam and your phone. Try restarting both devices.
  • ADAS warnings not triggering: Ensure the GPS antenna is connected (if applicable) and the vehicle speed meets the trigger conditions (e.g., >50KM/h for LDW with GPS).
  • No audio output: Check your selected audio output option (Built-in Speaker, Bluetooth, AUX, FM Transmitter) and ensure it's correctly configured and connected to your car's audio system.

User Tips

  • Memory Card Management: Regularly format your Micro SD/TF card (e.g., once a month) to maintain optimal recording performance and prevent data corruption.
  • ADAS Calibration: For best ADAS performance, ensure the dash cam is mounted centrally and the road ahead is clear. Some systems may require initial calibration.
  • Power Supply: While the standard car charger is sufficient for driving, consider purchasing a hardwire kit (buck line) for continuous 24-hour parking monitoring to protect your vehicle's battery.
  • Cable Management: Neatly tuck away power and camera cables to avoid obstructing your view or interfering with vehicle controls. Use cable clips if necessary.
  • Night Vision: For enhanced night vision, ensure your windshield is clean and free from glare.
