5. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your mouse, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the mouse surface. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Sensor Care: Keep the optical sensor on the bottom of the mouse clean and free from dust or debris. Use a cotton swab or compressed air if necessary.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the mouse in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Charging: Use the provided charging cable. Avoid overcharging or completely draining the battery frequently to prolong battery life.
6. Troubleshooting
- Mouse not responding:
- Ensure the mouse is powered on and has sufficient battery.
- Check the connection: For 2.4G, ensure the receiver is properly plugged in. For Bluetooth, ensure it's paired and within range. For wired, check the cable connection.
- Try connecting to a different USB port or device.
- DPI not changing:
- Press the DPI button firmly.
- If using VGN HUB software, ensure settings are applied correctly and the software is running.
- Lag or disconnection in wireless mode:
- Ensure the 2.4G receiver is not obstructed and is close to the mouse. Use the extender if available.
- Minimize interference from other wireless devices.
- Re-pair the Bluetooth connection if necessary.
- Battery not charging:
- Ensure the charging cable is securely connected to both the mouse and a power source.
