5. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Douk Audio MC105, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device. Avoid using liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as they may damage the finish or internal components.
- Environment: Keep the device in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive dust or moisture.
- Handling: Handle the device with care. Avoid dropping it or subjecting it to strong impacts.
- Connections: Periodically check all cable connections to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your MC105, please refer to the following troubleshooting tips:
6.1 No Power
- Ensure the DC5V power supply is correctly connected to the Type-C USB port and is providing sufficient power (≥1A).
- Check if the power adapter is functioning correctly.
- If using the remote control, ensure the AAA batteries are correctly installed and not depleted.
6.2 No Audio Output or Intermittent Sound
- Verify that all XLR cables are securely connected to both the MC105 and your audio devices.
- Confirm that the correct input/output channel is selected on the MC105 (indicated by the illuminated button).
- Check the volume levels on your connected audio source and destination devices.
- Common Ground Noise: If you experience common ground noise, it may be due to compatibility issues with certain audio devices. Consider adding an isolation module between the MC105 and the problematic device.
6.3 Noise or Low Volume (5-IN-1-OUT Version)
- For the 5-IN-1-OUT version, it is generally not recommended to connect multiple groups of input simultaneously, as this may cause noise or low volume. This version is primarily designed for selecting one of five inputs to a single output.
