4. Setup Guide

4.1 App Installation

1. Scan the QR code provided in the manual or on the product packaging, or search for "Soulear" in your device's app store (App Store for iOS, Google Play Store for Android).
2. Download and install the "Soulear" application on your smartphone or tablet.

4.2 Device Connection (N3 Pro - Wireless Model)

1. Ensure your N3 Pro device is charged. Connect the Type-C charging cable to the device and a power source if the battery is low.
2. Press and hold the power button on the device to turn it on. The indicator light will illuminate.
3. Open the "Soulear" app on your smartphone.
4. Go to your phone's Wi-Fi settings and connect to the Wi-Fi network broadcast by the ear pick (e.g., "Soulear-XXXX"). No password is usually required.
5. Return to the "Soulear" app. The device's camera feed should now be visible.

4.3 Device Connection (N1 - Wired Model)

1. Connect the Type-C cable from the N1 device directly to your smartphone or tablet. Ensure your device supports OTG (On-The-Go) functionality for wired endoscopes.
2. Open the "Soulear" app. The device's camera feed should now be visible.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 General Use

1. Attach a clean silicone ear spoon cover to the tip of the ear pick.
2. Turn on the device and connect it to the app as described in the Setup Guide.
3. Carefully insert the ear pick into your ear canal while observing the live feed on your smartphone.
4. Use the omnidirectional gyroscope feature (N3 Pro) for stable, 360-degree viewing and precise ear wax removal.
5. Gently scoop out ear wax. Avoid pushing wax deeper into the ear.
6. The app allows you to take photos and record videos of your ear canal for later review or consultation with a professional.

5.2 Temperature Control (N3 Pro)

The N3 Pro model features intelligent thermostat control to maintain a constant otoscope temperature of approximately 25°C, and a handheld body temperature of 32°C. This prevents high-temperature damage to the ear canal during use, ensuring a non-stimulating and comfortable experience.

5.3 Omnidirectional Gyroscope (N3 Pro)

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

• After each use, remove the silicone ear spoon cover and wash it with soap and water. Ensure it is completely dry before reattaching or storing.

Make sure the device is turned on and broadcasting its Wi-Fi signal. Check your phone's Wi-Fi settings to ensure you are connecting to the correct network (e.g., "Soulear-XXXX"). Restart both the device and your phone if necessary.

No image in the app:

For N3 Pro, ensure Wi-Fi is connected. For N1, ensure the cable is securely connected and your phone supports OTG. Close and reopen the app. Check app permissions for camera access.

Clean the camera lens gently with a soft cloth. Ensure the focal distance is appropriate (1.4-2cm).

Device gets hot:

The N3 Pro has thermostat control. If the device feels excessively hot, discontinue use and allow it to cool down. If the issue persists, contact support.
