Volume Control

Adjust the audio input volume directly on the receiver (RX) using the volume up (+) and volume down (-) buttons. Monitor the audio input levels on the RX's LCD display to prevent clipping or low audio.

Real-Time Audio Monitoring

Connect headphones to the 3.5mm headphone monitoring interface on the receiver (RX) to monitor your audio in real-time during recording. This ensures optimal sound quality and allows for immediate adjustments.

6. Maintenance

Charging the System

Image showing the charging case and battery life details: 1300mAh case, TX charges in 1.5h for 7h usage, RX charges in 1.5h for 6h usage.

Image: 20-Hour Battery life details.

The AWM20T system offers an impressive battery life:

  • Transmitters (TX): Up to 7 hours of continuous operation on a full charge.
  • Receiver (RX): Up to 6 hours of continuous operation on a full charge.
  • Charging Case: The 1300mAh charging case can fully charge both TX and RX units at least twice, extending the total battery life to up to 20 hours.

To charge, simply place the transmitters and receiver into the charging case. The charging case itself can be charged via its Type-C port using the included 2-in-1 charging cable. Individual units can also be charged directly via their Type-C ports if needed.

Cleaning and Storage

  • Wipe the units with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Keep the charging contacts clean and free of dust.
  • Store the system in the included fabric bag or charging case when not in use to protect it from dust, moisture, and physical damage.
  • Avoid exposing the devices to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.

7. Troubleshooting

No Audio or Poor Sound Quality

  • Check Connections: Ensure all cables (TRS to TRS, Type-C to Type-C, Lightning adapter) are securely connected to both the receiver and your recording device.
  • Verify Pairing: Check the RX's LCD display to confirm that the transmitters are paired (indicated by pairing status icons). If not, place them back in the charging case and remove them to re-initiate automatic pairing.
  • Adjust Volume: Ensure the microphone gain level on the RX is not too low or too high, which could cause low audio or clipping.
  • Noise Cancellation: If recording in a noisy environment, activate the one-click noise cancellation feature on the TX. Ensure furry windshields are used outdoors to mitigate wind noise.
  • Device Compatibility: Confirm your recording device's microphone input settings are correctly configured to receive audio from an external microphone.

Intermittent Signal or Disconnections

Image: 200M Long-Distance Wireless Transmission with ultra-low latency.

  • Operating Range: The system supports up to 200m (650ft) transmission in open, unobstructed environments. Ensure you are within this range and there are no significant physical obstructions between the TX and RX.
  • Interference: While designed for stable transmission in crowded RF environments, strong electromagnetic interference can affect performance. Try moving to a different location or away from other wireless devices.
  • Battery Level: Check the battery indicators on the RX display. Low battery levels can affect signal stability.

Battery Not Charging

  • Check Charging Cable: Ensure the 2-in-1 charging cable is properly connected to the charging case and a power source.
  • Clean Contacts: Verify that the charging contacts on the units and inside the charging case are clean and free of debris.
  • Power Source: Try a different USB power adapter or port.
