Connect the device you wish to control to the relay terminals. The relay provides Normally Open (NO), Normally Closed (NC), and Common (COM) contacts. Choose the appropriate contacts based on your application's requirements.

3.2 Mobile App Installation and Pairing

To control the module, you will need to install the corresponding mobile application (Sinilink APP). Once installed, follow these steps to pair the module:

  1. Power On: Connect the XY-WF36V module to a power source (DC 6V~36V or MicroUSB 5V). By default, the module enters Touch pairing mode upon power-up.
  2. Add Device in App: Open the Sinilink mobile application. Navigate to the 'My Devices' section and press the '+' sign to add a new device.

  10. Pairing Mode Indicators:
    • Touch Mode: The blue WiFi working light flashes 3 times quickly, pauses for 1 second, then flashes 3 times quickly again.
    • AP Mode: The blue WiFi working light blinks rapidly.

To manually switch to pairing mode, press the button on the module to turn the relay on/off, then hold it for more than 5 seconds to enter pairing mode. This supports both Touch pairing mode and AP pairing mode.

4. Operating Instructions

Once successfully paired, you can control the relay module using the mobile application.

4.1 Basic Control

The app interface will display your connected devices. You can toggle the relay on or off directly from the app.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Keep the module clean and free from dust. Use a dry, soft cloth for cleaning. Do not use liquids or abrasive cleaners.
  • Environment: Operate the module within its specified temperature range (-40°C to +85°C) and avoid high humidity environments.
  • Connections: Periodically check all wiring connections to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion.
  • Firmware Updates: Regularly check the mobile application for available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Module Not Powering On:
    • Verify the power supply voltage is within the DC 6V~36V range or 5V for MicroUSB.
    • Check power connections for correct polarity and secure contact.
  • Pairing Failure:
    • Ensure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. The module does not support 5GHz networks.
    • If your router combines 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, separate them in your router settings and connect to the 2.4GHz band.
    • Try resetting the module by pressing and holding the button for more than 5 seconds to re-enter pairing mode.
    • Follow the specific prompts within the mobile application for troubleshooting pairing issues.
  • Relay Not Responding:
    • Check if the module is successfully connected to the WiFi network (blue WiFi working light status).
    • Ensure the mobile app shows the module as online.
    • Verify the wiring to the controlled device is correct and secure.
    • Check the relay closing indicator (red light) to see if the relay is physically activating.
  • App Connectivity Issues:
    • Ensure your mobile device has a stable internet connection.
    • Restart the mobile application.
    • Restart your WiFi router.

7. User Tips

  • For critical applications, consider adding a physical override switch in parallel with the relay for manual control.
  • When integrating into existing systems, always ensure the power ratings of the connected device do not exceed the relay's maximum capacity (10A).
  • Label your modules clearly, especially if you are using multiple units in a smart home setup, to avoid confusion in the app.
  • Regularly review your scheduled tasks in the app to ensure they align with your current needs.
