5. Installation
Important: Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician to ensure safety and proper functionality.
- Ensure the main power supply is turned OFF before beginning installation.
- Mount the device securely in your electrical panel.
- Connect the input (IN) and output (OUT) terminals according to the wiring diagram provided below. Ensure correct connection of Live (L) and Neutral (N) wires.
- After wiring, restore power and check that the indicator lights on the device illuminate, indicating proper power connection.

6. Initial Setup & App Pairing
6.1 Device Overview and Manual Controls
The device features a visible window display showing voltage, current, and KWh. It also has indicator lights for Over/Under Voltage (V), Over-Current (A), Leakage (L), WiFi status, and Pulse. Control buttons include Power, SET, Adjustment keys (T, WiFi), and a Manual switch.

6.2 App Pairing (for WiFi models)
- Download the 'Tuya Smart' or 'Smart Life' app from your mobile app store.
- Register or log in to your account.
- On the device, long press the 'WiFi' button for 5 seconds to enter pairing mode. The WiFi indicator light should blink rapidly.
- In the app, tap 'Add Device' (usually a '+' icon) and select 'Breaker' or search for the device.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the device to your home WiFi network.
- Once successfully added, the device will appear in your app, and the WiFi indicator on the protector will be solid.
7. Operating Instructions
7.1 Energy Monitoring
After normal operation begins, electricity consumption data can be read from the device's display or the mobile app. The display cycles through KWH, KW, Power Factor, and Prepaid Energy. The app provides detailed daily, monthly, and yearly statistics, along with real-time voltage, current, and power readings.

7.2 Setting Protection Values
Protection values for over/under voltage, over current, and leakage can be set directly on the device or through the mobile app. Long press the 'SET' button for 3 seconds to enter the setting interface on the device. Use the 'T' (up) and 'WiFi' (down) buttons to adjust values. The app provides a more intuitive interface for these settings.

7.3 Earth Leakage Protection
The device is designed with two 63A relays internally, allowing it to cut off both Live (L) and Neutral (N) wires simultaneously in case of an earth leakage fault. This provides a higher level of safety compared to protectors that only cut the Live wire. The leakage value (10-99mA) can be set on the protector or via the app.

7.4 Timing Functions
The device supports three timing modes: Timing mode, Countdown mode, and Cycle Timing. These can be configured via the mobile app to automate the ON/OFF state of the connected circuit. For example, you can schedule devices to turn on or off at specific times.

7.5 Remote Control
With the WiFi model, you can remotely control the ON/OFF state of the circuit from anywhere using the Tuya Smart Life app on your smartphone. This allows you to manage your electrical devices even when you are away from home.

7.6 Prepayment Function
The device supports a prepayment function, allowing you to manage energy consumption based on a pre-charged balance. You can top-up the energy balance (in kWh) via the app, and the device will automatically cut off power once the balance is depleted. This feature is useful for managing energy usage and costs.
8. Troubleshooting
- Indicator light does not illuminate:
- Check whether the power supply is normal and correctly connected.
- Inaccurate readings:
- Calibration may be required. Refer to the 'Product Setting' section or app settings for voltage/current/kW calibration.
- Abnormal noise:
- Immediately discontinue use and contact maintenance service.
- WiFi network turns off and settings are lost:
- This could be due to an unstable WiFi signal or router issues. Ensure your WiFi signal is strong and stable. If the issue persists, try re-pairing the device with the app after resetting your router.
9. User Tips
- WiFi Password Changes: If you change your home modem's WiFi password, you will need to re-pair the device with the Tuya Smart Life app. Long press the WiFi button on the device for 5 seconds to enter pairing mode, then follow the app's instructions to reconnect.
- Solar Inverter Compatibility: When considering use with a solar inverter AC panel, it is crucial to verify compatibility with your specific inverter model. Consult an electrician or the inverter manufacturer's documentation if unsure.
- App Notifications: The Tuya Smart Life app can be configured to send notifications for various protection triggers, such as maximum current, maximum voltage, or earth leakage events. Ensure notifications are enabled in the app settings to stay informed about your circuit's status.
