7. Troubleshooting
- Flashlight not turning on:
- Check if the battery is inserted correctly with the positive (+) end towards the head.
- Ensure the tail cap is screwed on tightly.
- Check if the battery is charged. Recharge if necessary.
- Verify the flashlight is not in lockout mode. Deactivate lockout if active.
- Flashlight turns off unexpectedly or reduces brightness:
- This flashlight features intelligent protection to prevent overheating. If the flashlight becomes too hot, it will automatically reduce its output. Allow it to cool down.
- The battery might be low. Check the power indicator and recharge the battery.
- Ensure the 21700 battery used can produce at least 20 Amps of current, as required for the L35 2.0.
- Beam is flickering or unstable:
- Clean the battery contacts and the flashlight's contact points.
- Ensure the battery is fully charged and properly seated.
- Check for loose connections in the tail cap or head.
- Water ingress:
- Ensure all O-rings are properly seated and lubricated.
- Check for any damage to the O-rings or the flashlight body.
- Always ensure the tail cap is tightly secured before exposing to water.
8. User Tips
- For optimal performance and to prevent premature dimming, avoid prolonged use on Turbo mode, especially in warm environments. The intelligent temperature control will step down output to protect the LED and battery.
- Always carry a spare charged battery for extended use, particularly during critical tasks.
- Familiarize yourself with the dual switch operation in a non-critical setting to quickly access desired modes when needed.
