Operating Instructions
Scanning Barcodes
The scanner is equipped with a highly sensitive and accurate scanning head, capable of reading various 1D and 2D barcodes quickly and efficiently.

Compatible Barcode Types
The scanner supports a wide range of 1D and 2D barcodes, readable from both paper and digital screens (for 2D models).
- 1D Barcodes: EAN, UPC, Code 39, Code 93, Code 128, UCC/EAN 128, Codabar, Interleaved 2 of 5, ITF-6, ITF-14, ISBN, ISSN, MSI-Plessey, GS1 Databar, Code 11, Industrial 25, Matrix 2 of 5, etc.

Scanning Modes
The scanner offers three distinct scanning modes to suit different operational needs:
- Manual Trigger Mode: Press the trigger button to scan each barcode individually. This is the most frequently used method.
- Continuous Scan Mode: The scanner continuously emits a scan line, automatically reading barcodes as they pass through its field of view. Suitable for high-volume scanning.
- Auto-sensing Scan Mode: The scanner automatically switches to self-sensing mode when placed on its stand. It will detect and scan barcodes when they are presented in front of the scanning window. When removed from the stand, it reverts to manual key mode.

Beep Setting
The scanner features customizable volume settings. You can turn the sound on or off based on the barcode in the user manual. This allows you to adjust the audible feedback during scanning operations.

Powerful Edit Functions
The scanner supports advanced data editing functions, allowing you to customize the scanned output:
- Add Prefix: Add characters before the scanned data.
- Add Suffix: Add characters after the scanned data.
- In The Middle: Insert characters within the scanned data.
- Hidden Front/End: Hide a specified number of characters from the beginning or end of the scanned data.

Maintenance
General Care
- Keep the scanner clean. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior.
- Avoid exposing the scanner to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents on the scanner.
Anti-Shock Design
The scanner features an anti-shock silicone design (IP54 rated) to protect it from collision damage or breakage if it falls from a desk or shelf. While durable, avoid unnecessary drops to prolong the product's lifespan.
