4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Device
Before first use, ensure the device is fully charged. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the Type-C charging socket on the device and to a compatible USB power source. The battery indicator on the display will show charging status.

4.2 Initial Power On
Press the On/Off button to turn on the device. The LCD display will light up.
4.3 Calibration (Zeroing)
For accurate measurements, especially in relative mode, it is recommended to calibrate the device. Place the inclinometer on a known flat, horizontal surface. Press the ZERO CAL button to set the current position as the zero reference. This will switch the device to relative measurement mode (REF).
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
- To turn on: Press the On/Off button.
- To turn off: Press and hold the On/Off button for a few seconds.
5.2 Measurement Modes (Absolute/Relative)

- The device defaults to Absolute Measurement Mode (ABS).
- To switch to Relative Measurement Mode (REF), press the ZERO CAL button. The display will show 'REF'. In this mode, the current surface becomes the new zero reference.
- To return to Absolute Measurement Mode, press the ZERO CAL button again.
5.3 Unit Switching

Long press the UNIT button to cycle through the four available measurement units:
- Degrees (°)
- Percentage (%) Slope
- Inches per foot (in/ft) Imperial Slope
- Millimeters per meter (mm/m) Metric Slope
5.4 Laser Function (PT181 Model Only)

Short press the UNIT button to turn the laser on or off. The PT181 model features dual-sided lasers that can project parallel lines for accurate alignment.
5.5 Automatic Flip Display

The display automatically rotates 180° for easy reading of measurements when the device is inverted.
5.6 Magnetic Base

The device has powerful magnets on five sides, allowing it to be securely attached to metallic surfaces for hands-free operation.
5.7 Automatic Shutdown

The device will automatically shut down after 10 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery. To cancel this feature:
- While the device is powered on, simultaneously press and hold the On/Off button and the UNIT button.
- Release the buttons when "A OF" appears on the display.
- Wait for the display to return to normal. The automatic shutdown feature is now disabled.
6. Maintenance
- Keep the device clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
- Store the device in its protective velvet bag (included in package) in a dry place when not in use.
- Regularly charge the device to maintain battery health.

7. Troubleshooting
- Display shows "Erro": This indicates that the current angle measurement is not supported by the device. Reposition the device or ensure it is within its measuring range (4x90°).
- Device does not turn on: Check the battery level. If low, connect the device to a Type-C charger.
- Inaccurate readings: Perform a calibration (zeroing) as described in Section 4.3. Ensure the surface used for calibration is truly flat and level.
- Laser not working (PT181 only): Ensure the laser function is turned on by short-pressing the UNIT button. Check battery level.
8. User Tips
- For consistent accuracy, calibrate your inclinometer regularly, especially before critical measurements or if you suspect it has been subjected to impact.
- Utilize the powerful magnetic base to secure the device to metal workpieces or structures, freeing your hands for other tasks.
- Familiarize yourself with the different measurement units (degrees, percent slope, in/ft, mm/m) and switch between them as needed for your specific application.
- The auto-flip display feature is very convenient when working in awkward positions; ensure you're reading the correct orientation.
- When using the laser (PT181 model), ensure the laser line is clearly visible on your target surface for precise alignment.
