1. Product Overview

The ENCHEN Hummingbird Electric Hair Clipper is a versatile grooming tool designed for precise haircuts, beard maintenance, and various hair styling needs. It features a T-shaped cutter head, powerful motor, and a long-lasting rechargeable battery, all while operating with low noise.

3. Setup and Charging

3.1 Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge the hair clipper. The device uses a USB-B charging port.

  • Connect the USB charging cable to the clipper and a suitable USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, power bank).
  • The indicator light will blink red during charging.
  • A full charge takes approximately 3 hours.
  • Once fully charged, the indicator light will turn solid white.
  • The clipper can be used for up to 120 minutes on a full charge. It can also be used while charging.

3.2 Attaching and Detaching Trimmer Blade

The trimmer blade can be detached for cleaning and oiling.

  1. To detach: Place your thumb on the blade and push it in the direction of the arrow (away from the clipper body). The blade unit will pop off.
  2. To attach: Align the guiding slot on the blade unit with the corresponding lug on the clipper body. Insert the lug properly and push the back of the blade onto the trimmer until it clicks into place.

3.3 Attaching Limit Combs

Select the desired limit comb (0.5mm, 1mm, or 1.5mm) for your preferred haircut length.

  • Align the comb with the trimmer blade and slide it on until it securely clicks into place.
  • To remove, gently pull the comb away from the blade.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

Press the power button located on the front of the clipper to turn it on or off.

4.2 Hair Trimming

  • Ensure the desired limit comb is securely attached for the preferred hair length.
  • For precise trimming, the T-shaped cutter head is ideal for oil head gradient styles, blending, fading, and carving.
  • The ultra-thin 0.3mm blade allows for quick finishing of bald heads.
  • The clipper can be used for both wet and dry haircuts.
  • Move the clipper against the direction of hair growth for an even cut.

4.3 Beard Maintenance

Use the attachment combs to achieve consistent cut lengths and a balanced shape for beard maintenance.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Blades

  • After each use, detach the trimmer blade unit as described in Section 3.2.
  • Rinse the blade part with water to remove hair clippings.
  • Use the provided cleaning brush to remove any stubborn hair from the blade and clipper body.
  • Ensure the blade is completely dry before reattaching.

5.2 Lubricating the Blades

To maintain optimal performance and extend the lifespan of the blades, apply a few drops of the provided lubricating oil to the blades after cleaning or before each use.

  • Apply a drop of oil to each side of the blade and one drop to the center.
  • Turn on the clipper for a few seconds to distribute the oil evenly.
  • Wipe off any excess oil.

6. Troubleshooting
