- Connect the speed sensor cable to the corresponding input on the speedometer wiring harness.

4.3. Mounting the Speedometer
Use the provided Y bracket and mounting hardware to securely attach the speedometer to your motorcycle's dashboard or handlebars. Ensure it is positioned for clear visibility while riding.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Display Interface Overview
The speedometer features a clear LCD display with various indicators:

- Speed: Current riding speed (km/h or mph).
- Speed Unit: Indicates km/h or mph.
- Mileage: Displays ODO (total mileage) or TRIP (trip mileage).
- Voltage: Battery voltage.
- Gear: Current gear (N, 1-6).
- Rotation Value Display/Range: Tachometer (RPM).
- Indicators: Left Turn (green), Right Turn (green), High Beam (blue), Neutral (green), Engine Fault (yellow).
- Button: Used for mode switching and settings.
5.2. Basic Functions
- Switching ODO/TRIP: In the working interface, short press the button to switch between ODO (total mileage) and TRIP (trip mileage).
- Changing Speed Units (km/h / mph): In ODO mode, long press the button to switch the speed unit between kilometers and miles.
- Clearing TRIP Mileage: In TRIP mode, long press the button to clear the trip mileage.

5.3. Parameter Settings
To enter the parameter setting mode:
- Press and hold the button while turning on the ignition (powering on the speedometer). Hold for 5 seconds until "SETUP" appears on the screen.
- Short press the button to cycle through the following settings:
5.3.1. Speed Sensor Magnet Count Setting
- The screen will display "E-2" (factory default is 2 magnets).
- Short press the button to increase the magnet count by 1 (range 1-9).
- Long press the button to save the setting and switch to the next parameter.
5.3.2. Tire Circumference Setting
- The screen will display "C-1902" (factory default is 1902mm).
- Short press the button to increase the value by 1.
- Long press the button to shift the digit being edited.
- After setting all four digits, long press the button to save and switch to the next parameter.
5.3.3. Engine Stroke Setting
- The screen will display "1P" (factory default is 1).
- Short press the button to switch between 1, 2, 3, or 4 strokes.
- Long press the button to exit the parameter setting interface.
Note: If there is no operation on the parameter setting interface for 20 seconds, it will automatically exit and return to the working interface.
5.4. Mileage Reset Procedure
This procedure allows you to reset the total mileage (ODO) in increments.
- Press and hold the button while turning on the ignition (powering on the speedometer). Hold for 5 seconds until "SETUP" appears.
- Release the button, then immediately long press it again to enter the mileage clearance procedure. (Once entered, you cannot switch back to other settings).
- Each short press of the button will reduce the total mileage by 200 km and increment the clearance count.
- Long press the button to exit the clearance procedure.
- You have a total of three clearance opportunities.
- If the total mileage is less than 200 km, it will be cleared directly. If it exceeds 200 km, it will be reduced by 200 km with each press.
Note: If there is no button activity for 20 seconds during the clearance procedure, it will automatically exit.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the display and casing. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Waterproofing: The speedometer is designed to be sealed and waterproof. However, avoid prolonged submersion or high-pressure water jets directly on the unit.
- Wiring Inspection: Periodically check all wiring connections for tightness and signs of wear or corrosion.
- Sensor Check: Ensure the speed sensor and magnets are clean and properly aligned for accurate readings.

7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No speed or RPM reading | Incorrect wiring; faulty sensor; magnets misaligned or missing. | Verify all wiring connections (refer to Section 4.1). Check speed sensor and magnet installation (Section 4.2). Ensure magnets pass close enough to the sensor. |
| Neutral indicator not working | Neutral gear wire incorrectly connected or faulty. | Check the connection for the 'N Gear' wire (Pin 6, Green-Red) as per the wiring diagram. |
| Inaccurate speed or mileage | Incorrect tire circumference or magnet count setting. | Enter parameter settings (Section 5.3) and adjust the 'Speed Sensor Magnet Count' and 'Tire Circumference' to match your motorcycle's specifications. |
| Inaccurate RPM reading | Incorrect engine stroke setting. | Enter parameter settings (Section 5.3) and adjust the 'Engine Stroke Setting' (1P, 2P, 3P, 4P) to match your engine type. |
| Fuel level display shows voltage | Fuel level sensor not connected or faulty. | Ensure the 'Fuel Level' wire (Pin 8, Yellow) is correctly connected to your motorcycle's fuel level sensor. |
8. User Tips
- Wheel Size Adjustment: For precise speed and mileage readings, accurately measure your wheel's circumference and set it in the speedometer's parameters (Section 5.3.2). This is a common adjustment needed for universal speedometers.
- Magnet Placement: When installing the speed sensor, ensure the magnets are securely attached to the wheel and pass directly in front of the sensor. The closer the magnets are to the sensor (without touching), the more reliable the speed signal will be.
- RPM Signal: If you experience issues with RPM readings, double-check the 'Engine Stroke Setting' (1P, 2P, 3P, 4P) to ensure it matches your motorcycle's engine configuration.
- Wiring Diagram: Always refer to the detailed wiring diagram (Figure 3) and terminal definitions (Section 4.1) for correct installation. Incorrect wiring is a frequent cause of non-functionality.
