5.2 Network Connection

  1. Connect your network devices (e.g., computers, printers, routers, cameras) to any of the 4 RJ45 ports (4) using standard Ethernet cables.
  2. If connecting to another switch or router for network expansion, use the Uplink cascade port (1).
  3. The switch supports auto-negotiation for 10/100/1000Mbps speeds and full-duplex/half-duplex communication.

5.3 Installation

  • DIN Rail Mounting: Use the included rail fixing buckle (8) and rail seat (10) to mount the switch onto a standard DIN rail.
  • Wall Mounting: Utilize the wall hanging hole (8) and wall mounting hole (9) to secure the switch to a wall using appropriate screws (not included).

6. Operating Instructions

The VONETS VS500 is a plug-and-play device, requiring no software configuration. Once powered on and connected to your network devices, it will automatically begin functioning.
