1. Introduction

The Alonefire SV84 is a powerful 365nm UV flashlight designed for a wide range of detection and authentication tasks. Its ultra-violet light source is effective for identifying pet urine stains, scorpions, fluorescent agents, authenticating currency, licenses, and passports, detecting oil stains and leaks, and assisting in ore and antique identification, as well as UV glue curing. For optimal results, use the flashlight in a dark environment.

3. Package Contents

The Alonefire SV84 UV Flashlight is available in different packages. Please verify your specific package contents upon receipt.

Package A:

  • 1 x Alonefire SV84 UV Flashlight
  • 1 x USB charging cable

Package V:

  • 1 x Alonefire SV84 UV Flashlight
  • 4 x 18650 batteries
  • 1 x USB charging cable

Note: Flashlights do not come with batteries in Package A. If you do not have 18650 batteries, it is recommended to choose Package V.

4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

  1. Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight.
  2. Insert four (4) 18650 rechargeable batteries into the battery compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the flashlight.
  3. Screw the tail cap back on securely.

4.2 Charging the Flashlight

The SV84 features a convenient Type-C charging port.

  1. Locate the Type-C charging port on the flashlight body.
  2. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the flashlight's Type-C port.
  3. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible USB power source (e.g., phone charger, notebook, USB wall adapter, car charger).
  4. The charging indicator light will show red when the battery is low or charging.
  5. The indicator light will turn green once charging is complete.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off and Mode Selection

  • Press the power button to turn the flashlight ON.
  • Press the power button again to cycle through the two available modes: High and Low.
  • Press and hold the power button to turn the flashlight OFF.

5.2 Applications

The 365nm UV light is versatile for various detection purposes:

  • Pet Stain Detection: Detects pet urine stains on rugs, carpets, and upholstery that are invisible to the naked eye.
  • Scorpion Finder: Scorpions fluoresce under UV light, making them easier to spot.
  • Currency and Document Authentication: Reveals fluorescent security features on banknotes, licenses, cards, and passports.
  • Oil Stains and Leakage Detection: Helps identify hidden oil leaks or stains.
  • Ore and Antique Identification: Certain minerals and antique materials fluoresce uniquely under UV light.
  • UV Glue Curing: Can be used for curing UV-sensitive adhesives.
  • Pet Fungus Detection: Irradiate pets to observe fluorescence, which can indicate certain types of fungus.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the flashlight body with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Lens Care: Gently clean the UV filter lens with a lens cleaning cloth to maintain optimal light output.
  • Battery Care: If the flashlight will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage. Store batteries in a cool, dry place.
  • Water Resistance: The flashlight is splash-proof only. Do not submerge it in water or expose it to heavy rain.
  • Heat Dissipation: The flashlight features a powerful thermal protection wick for good heat dissipation, which helps extend product life. Avoid blocking the cooling fins during operation.

7. Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Flashlight does not turn on. Low or dead batteries.
Incorrect battery installation.
Loose tail cap.
Charge batteries or replace with fresh ones.
Ensure batteries are inserted with correct polarity.
Tighten the tail cap securely.
UV light is dim or inconsistent. Low battery charge.
Dirty lens.
Recharge the batteries.
Clean the UV filter lens.
Charging indicator not working. Charging cable or power source issue.
Flashlight fully charged.
Try a different USB cable or power source.
If the flashlight is already fully charged, the indicator will be green or off.

8. User Tips

  • For best results in detection, use the flashlight in a completely dark environment.
  • Always ensure the batteries are fully charged before extended use to maintain consistent UV output.
  • The black UV filter lens is designed to block ambient light, making the UV output purer and more effective for detection.
