5. Setup and Assembly

Attach the Collar Strap:
Thread the nylon collar strap through the two slots on the bark collar device. Ensure the device is positioned centrally on the strap.

Adjust the Collar Length:
Adjust the length of the nylon strap using the buckle to fit your dog's neck comfortably. The collar should be snug enough that two fingers can fit between the strap and your dog's neck, but not too tight to cause discomfort.

Secure the Collar:
Fasten the quick-release buckle securely. Ensure the device's sensors are positioned correctly against your dog's throat for optimal bark detection.

6. Operating Instructions

Power On/Off:
Locate the power switch button on the side of the device (refer to Figure 1). Press and hold the button for a few seconds to turn the collar ON or OFF. An indicator light will confirm the status.

Adjusting Sensitivity:
The collar has 5 sensitivity levels. Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the top of the device to increase or decrease the sensitivity (refer to Figure 2). Higher sensitivity means the collar will detect barks more easily, while lower sensitivity requires louder or more frequent barking to activate. Adjust according to your dog's barking habits.

Automatic Bark Detection:
Once powered on and fitted correctly, the collar will automatically detect your dog's barking through its sensors. Upon detecting a bark, the collar will emit a warning sound followed by a vibration correction. The intensity and duration of the vibration may increase with continued barking, providing a progressive deterrent.

7. Charging the Collar

The PD 258V collar is rechargeable. To charge the device:

Locate the USB charging hole on the side of the device (refer to Figure 1).
Open the protective cover of the charging port.
Connect the provided USB charging cable to the collar's charging port.
Connect the other end of the USB cable to a power source such as a laptop, USB charger, or portable USB power bank.
The indicator light will show charging status. A full charge typically takes about 2 hours.
Once fully charged, disconnect the cable and securely close the protective cover to maintain the waterproof seal.

8. Maintenance

Regularly inspect the collar for any signs of wear or damage.
Clean the collar device and strap with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed when not charging to maintain its waterproof integrity.
Store the collar in a cool, dry place when not in use.
Do not leave the collar on your dog for more than 12 consecutive hours to prevent skin irritation.

9. Troubleshooting
