Battery Level Indicator

After turning on the HS22, the indicator will display the voltage for 5 seconds:

  • Green Solid = 75%-100%
  • Flashing Green = 50%-75%
  • Red Solid = 25%-50%
  • Flashing Red = 1-25%

Charging Indicator

  • Red = Charging
  • Green = Fully Charged

During charging, the device will automatically power off and unlock when charging is detected. While charging, it only responds to single-click operations (ON/OFF).

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Keep the lens clean and free of debris to ensure proper light output.
  • Battery Care: Always remove the battery if the headlamp will not be used for an extended period to prevent potential leakage or damage.
  • General Care: Do not expose the headlamp to water or extreme temperatures for prolonged periods.

Troubleshooting

  • Accidental Activation: To prevent accidental activation, especially when carrying the headlamp, either loosen the tailcap slightly to physically cut off power or activate the lockout mode (triple-click any button when off).
  • Heat Buildup: Extended use at high brightness levels will cause significant heat buildup. This is normal operation and not a malfunction. The temperature protection system will automatically activate if the temperature exceeds 55°C, reducing the output current to maintain an optimal outer temperature.
  • Headlamp Not Turning On: Ensure the battery is correctly installed with the positive (+) end facing the head, and that both the head and tail caps are fully tightened. Check the battery level.
  • Charging Issues: Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected and the power adapter provides 5V/2A (max). The indicator should be red during charging.

  • Color Temperature for Conditions: Use warmer tints (3000K) to cut through fog or haze, neutral white (4500K) for general everyday use, and cool white (6000K) for crisp, clear outdoor night vision.
  • Battery Preservation: For prolonged storage, remove the battery from the headlamp. This helps prevent accidental discharge and extends battery life.
