2. Safety Information

Please read all safety instructions carefully before using the charger. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

General Safety Precautions:

• Ensure the charger is connected to a properly grounded outlet.
• Do not use the charger if the cable or connector is damaged.
• Do not attempt to open, disassemble, or modify the charger.
• Keep the charger away from children and pets.
• Do not immerse the charger in water. The IP66 rating protects against water jets, but not submersion.
• Operate the charger within the specified temperature range (-30°C to 55°C).
• Ensure the charging cable is not pinched, stepped on, or subjected to damage.

The Feyree EV charger is equipped with multiple safety features to ensure secure charging:

• Leakage Protection: Type B AC30mA + DC6mA protection.

5. Setup and Installation

Wall-Mounted Installation:

1. Choose a suitable location for the EV charger box holder. Ensure it is near a compatible power outlet and within reach of your vehicle's charging port.
2. Use the provided screws and wall plugs to securely mount the holder to a sturdy wall surface.
3. Place the charger control box into the holder.

Power Connection:

Connect the CEE plug of the charger to a compatible 3-phase power outlet. Ensure the outlet matches the charger's voltage and current requirements (380V, 16A).

App Connection (Wi-Fi/Bluetooth):

The charger supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity for smart control via an app (e.g., Tuya Smart or Smart Life).

1. Download the appropriate smart app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
2. Ensure your phone's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled.
3. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to add a new device. You may need to connect to the charger's hotspot for initial setup.
4. Once connected, you can control the charger via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth (within 10 meters).

6. Operating Instructions

LCD Display and Button Functions:

The charger features a 2.8-inch LCD display and three capacitive touch buttons (A, D, T) for direct control.

• 'A' Button (Adjust Current): Press to adjust the charging current (downward when in menu page). Available current settings are 8A, 10A, 13A, 16A.
• 'D' Button (Set Delay Time): Press to set a delay time for charging (0-15 hours). Enter when in menu page.
• 'T' Button (Set Charging Time): Short press to set the charging duration (1-15 hours). Long press for 10 seconds to enter the main menu page. Press again to go back when in menu page.

Menu Navigation:

To access advanced settings and information, long press the 'T' button for 10 seconds to enter the menu page.

Scheduled Charging (via App):

Utilize the smart app to schedule charging during off-peak hours to save on electricity costs.

1. Open the connected smart app on your smartphone.
2. Navigate to the scheduling or charging plan section.
3. Set your desired start and end times for charging.
4. Confirm the schedule. The charger will automatically begin and end charging according to your settings.

7. Maintenance

Cleaning:

• Ensure the charger is unplugged from the power source before cleaning.
• Wipe the exterior of the charger and cable with a soft, damp cloth.
• Do not use harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners.
• Ensure the connectors are clean and free of dust or debris.

Storage:

• When not in use, store the charger in a dry, cool place.
• Use the provided storage bag to protect the charger from dust and damage.
• Avoid coiling the cable too tightly to prevent internal damage.

8. Troubleshooting

Common Issues and Solutions:

• Charger not turning on: Ensure the CEE plug is fully inserted into a live power outlet. Check the power supply.
• Charging not starting: Verify the EV connector is securely plugged into your vehicle. Check for any error messages on the LCD display or in the app. Ensure no delay or scheduled charging is active.
• App connection issues:
  • Ensure Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled on your phone.
  • Try resetting the Wi-Fi connection on the charger: Long press 'T' to enter the menu, select 'Settings' with 'A', enter with 'D', then select 'Reset Wifi' with 'A' and confirm with 'D'.

• Slow charging: Check the current setting on the charger or in the app. Ensure it is set to the desired amperage (e.g., 16A for 11KW).
• Error codes: Refer to the app for specific error code explanations or contact customer support.

9. User Tips

• Optimize Charging Times: Use the smart app's scheduling feature to charge your EV during off-peak electricity hours to save money.
• Portable Use: The charger is designed for both portable and wall-mounted use. When traveling, utilize the storage bag for easy transport.
