1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing the ORIA Wireless Weather Station. This device provides accurate indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity readings, along with a 12-24 hour weather forecast. It features a clear LCD display with backlight and a remote sensor for versatile placement. Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper setup and operation.

2. Package Contents
- 1 x Indoor Outdoor Thermometer Hygrometer (Main Display Console)
- 1 x Thermo-Hygrometer Sensor (Remote Sensor)
- 1 x User Manual
3. Setup
3.1 Powering the Devices
The main display console requires 3 x AAA batteries (not included). The remote sensor requires 2 x AA batteries (not included). Ensure batteries are inserted with correct polarity.
3.2 Sensor Placement
- Main Display Console: Place the main unit indoors in a central location, away from direct sunlight or heat sources, for accurate indoor readings. It can be hung upright or placed on a flat surface.
- Remote Sensor: For outdoor temperature and humidity, place the remote sensor outdoors in a shaded, dry area, protected from direct rain and sunlight. It can be hung upright. The maximum transmission distance between the main unit and the remote sensor is 328ft (100m) in an open area. Obstacles like walls and electronic devices may reduce this range.

5. Maintenance
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries in both the main console and remote sensor when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Use fresh batteries of the specified type (3 AAA for console, 2 AA for sensor).
- Cleaning: Wipe the device surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
- Storage: If storing the device for an extended period, remove all batteries to prevent leakage.
6. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No display on main unit | Batteries are dead or incorrectly inserted. | Check battery polarity and replace with fresh 3 AAA batteries. |
| No outdoor readings | Remote sensor batteries are dead or out of range. | Replace remote sensor batteries (2 AA). Move sensor closer to the main unit or reduce obstructions. |
| Inaccurate readings | Sensor exposed to direct sunlight, heat sources, or moisture. | Relocate sensors to a shaded, well-ventilated area. Allow time for readings to stabilize (updates every 30 seconds). The device uses Swiss-made SENSIRION sensors for high accuracy (Temperature: ±0.2℃/±0.5℉, Humidity: ±2%). |
| Short battery life | Frequent backlight use, intermittent reception, or multiple sensors (if applicable). | Minimize backlight use. Ensure optimal placement for stable connection. Battery life is approximately 12 months. |
