1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the ORIA Wireless Weather Station. This device provides accurate indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity readings, along with a 12-24 hour weather forecast. It features a clear LCD display with backlight and a remote sensor for versatile placement. Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper setup and operation.

2. Package Contents

  • 1 x Indoor Outdoor Thermometer Hygrometer (Main Display Console)
  • 1 x Thermo-Hygrometer Sensor (Remote Sensor)
  • 1 x User Manual

3. Setup

3.1 Powering the Devices

The main display console requires 3 x AAA batteries (not included). The remote sensor requires 2 x AA batteries (not included). Ensure batteries are inserted with correct polarity.

3.2 Sensor Placement

  • Main Display Console: Place the main unit indoors in a central location, away from direct sunlight or heat sources, for accurate indoor readings. It can be hung upright or placed on a flat surface.
  • Remote Sensor: For outdoor temperature and humidity, place the remote sensor outdoors in a shaded, dry area, protected from direct rain and sunlight. It can be hung upright. The maximum transmission distance between the main unit and the remote sensor is 328ft (100m) in an open area. Obstacles like walls and electronic devices may reduce this range.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Display Overview

The 4-inch LCD screen provides a clear, easy-to-read display of various data points. The backlight automatically turns off after 10 seconds to conserve power.

  1. Touch Backlight: Activates the display backlight.
  2. 12/24 hour format: Time display setting.
  3. Time: Current time.
  4. Weather Forecast: Icon indicating predicted weather.
  5. Outdoor Temperature: Current outdoor temperature.
  6. Indoor Temperature: Current indoor temperature.
  7. Indoor Humidity: Current indoor humidity percentage.
  8. Outdoor Humidity: Current outdoor humidity percentage.
  9. Air pressure: Current atmospheric pressure.
  10. Month/Date: Current month and date.
  11. Alarm: Alarm indicator.

4.2 Weather Forecast

The weather station predicts weather conditions for the next 12 to 24 hours based on data collected by its built-in barometer sensor. The forecast is represented by various icons:

4.3 Alarm Clock & Snooze Function

The device includes an alarm clock feature with a snooze function. Refer to the user manual for specific instructions on setting the alarm and activating snooze.

5. Maintenance

  • Battery Replacement: Replace batteries in both the main console and remote sensor when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Use fresh batteries of the specified type (3 AAA for console, 2 AA for sensor).
  • Cleaning: Wipe the device surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
  • Storage: If storing the device for an extended period, remove all batteries to prevent leakage.

6. Troubleshooting
