- Slide the clamp plate between the outer shell and inner padding of your helmet.
- Position it securely and tighten the screws using the provided Allen wrench. Ensure it does not interfere with helmet safety or comfort.
- Install 3M Tape Bracket (if chosen):
- Clean the desired mounting area on the helmet surface thoroughly.

3.2 Speaker and Microphone Installation
Install the speakers and microphone inside your helmet for optimal audio and communication.
- Speaker Placement: Attach the 40MM HI-FI speakers to the inside of your helmet, aligning them with your ears. Use the provided speaker pads for comfort and optimal sound. Ensure they do not press uncomfortably against your ears.
- Microphone Placement: Choose between the boom microphone (for open-face or modular helmets) or the soft-wire microphone (for full-face helmets). Position the microphone close to your mouth, ensuring it is not obstructed by padding or wind.
- Cable Management: Route all cables neatly under the helmet padding to prevent interference and ensure comfort. Connect the speaker and microphone cables to the corresponding ports on the MeshCom main unit.

6. Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions:
- Device does not power on:
- Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a charger and try again.
- Verify you are pressing the Power button correctly for 3 seconds.
- No sound from speakers:
- Check volume levels on both the MeshCom and your connected device.
- Ensure speakers are correctly plugged into the MeshCom unit.
- Verify speaker placement inside the helmet.
- Cannot pair with phone/GPS:
- Ensure the MeshCom is in Bluetooth pairing mode (flashing red/blue).
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone/GPS and it's discoverable.
- Try restarting both devices.
- Mesh intercom not connecting or unstable:
- Ensure all MeshCom units are within the 2km range.
- Verify all units are on the same Mesh channel.
- Obstacles (buildings, dense terrain) can reduce range. Try moving to a more open area.
- Poor audio quality/excessive noise:
- Ensure the microphone is positioned correctly, close to your mouth and away from direct wind.
- The built-in CVC/DSP noise reduction should handle most background noise, but extreme conditions may still affect clarity.
Resetting the Device:
If you experience persistent issues, a factory reset may resolve the problem. Refer to the full user manual for the specific button sequence to perform a factory reset. Note that a factory reset will clear all pairing information.
