Operating Instructions
Figure 4: Control panel and battery compartment overview.
1. Power On/Off
- To turn on the device, slide the main switch to the 'ON' position.
- To turn off the device, slide the main switch to the 'OFF' position.
2. Self-Leveling Mode
- When the device is powered on and placed on a surface with a tilt angle less than 3 degrees, it will automatically self-level.
- If the tilt angle exceeds 3 degrees, the laser lines will flash and an alarm will sound, indicating that the device is out of its self-leveling range. Adjust the position of the laser level until it is within range.

3. Activating Laser Lines
- Press the 'H' button to activate or deactivate the horizontal laser lines.
- Press the 'V' button to activate or deactivate the vertical laser lines.
- You can activate horizontal and vertical lines simultaneously for cross-line projection.
4. Tilt Mode / Pulse Mode
- The middle button on the control panel (and on the remote) controls the Tilt mode and Pulse mode.
- Tilt Mode: Long press the middle button to enter tilt mode. This allows you to project lines at any angle without the self-leveling function engaging. The laser lines will not flash or alarm in this mode, even if the device is tilted beyond 3 degrees.
- Pulse Mode: Short press the middle button to activate pulse mode. This mode is typically used with a laser receiver (not included) for outdoor use or in bright conditions to extend the working range.
5. Remote Control Operation
The included remote control allows for convenient operation from a distance. It typically mirrors the functions of the buttons on the laser level itself (H, V, and middle button for mode selection).

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the laser output windows and the device body with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the laser level in its cloth bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove the battery if storing for extended periods.
- Battery Care: Charge the battery fully before first use. If the device will not be used for a long time, charge the battery every 3 months to maintain its lifespan.
- Calibration: While the device is factory calibrated, if you suspect a significant deviation in accuracy, contact customer support for professional calibration services.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Laser not turning on | Battery is low or not installed correctly. Main switch is off. | Charge the battery or ensure it is properly installed. Slide the main switch to 'ON'. |
| Laser lines are flashing and alarming | Device is outside its self-leveling range (>3° tilt). | Adjust the position of the laser level to a more level surface until the flashing/alarm stops. Alternatively, activate Tilt Mode if angled projection is desired. |
| Inaccurate laser lines | Device is not stable. Lens is dirty. | Ensure the device is on a stable surface or securely mounted. Clean the laser output windows with a soft, dry cloth. |
| Remote control not working | Remote battery is dead. Obstruction between remote and device. | Replace the remote control battery. Ensure a clear line of sight to the laser level. |
User Tips
- Digital Manual: While a physical instruction manual is included, it's always a good idea to keep a digital copy saved on your computer or phone for easy access. Check the seller's website for downloadable versions.
- Battery Management: The laser level comes with one rechargeable battery. For extended projects, consider having a spare charged battery on hand, or ensure you have access to a power source for charging.
- Tripod Compatibility: The laser level is designed with a standard 1/4-inch thread for tripod mounting. This allows for greater stability and precise height adjustments, especially for floor and ceiling work.
- Outdoor Visibility: For outdoor use or in very bright indoor conditions, the green laser lines might be less visible. Using a laser receiver (sold separately) in pulse mode can significantly improve visibility and working range.
